We stayed in room 12 which was a beautiful suite with a 4.poster bed, jacuzzi bath, kitchen with microwave and fridge and sitting room with balcony. Room was clean, bed comfortable and all round a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. We were there for a dinner dance, the food was excellent, the amenities were great but the staff that were thereon the Saturday night and Sunday morning were absolutely fabulous, couldn't do enough for you. They are the real assets in this hotel.

A couple of teaspoons in the kitchen.would be good and perhaps rethink the length of the chandelier over the bed, it was a bit low and off putting as it was a spiky shape. It just was a bit intimidating. Sofa needs a deep clean. Just a few little things that would make a big difference.

The stuff was more than helpful, the room was very beautiful and we had a terrace with view on the fields which was really beautiful.. In the morning I got coffee for free which was really lovely. Also the food in the evening was not expensive at all but still very good.. We would always come back and can highly recommend this hotel!!

The moment I arrived here, I knew this was an awesome place. Hotel Arco del Sol is located 2 kilometers outside the village of Colmenar in a wonderful surrounding. I arrived one hour and a half too early, but Juan, the very kind son of the owners and who also spoke English very well, said this was no problem. I got a room on the first floor with a big balcony with a view (like all or almost all of the rooms), a prive bathroom with a bath, a desk, tv and Wi-Fi. The people in this family hotel are very friendly and helpful (they offered me a ride to my net destination Casabermeja if necessary). The bar is open all the time and there is also a very good restaurant. The homemade croquetas were the best I ate during my two week on my walking trip in Andalucia! The scenery around Colmenar is very beautiful and enjoyable.

The owners, the rooms in a hotel at a busy road where you don’t hear this road. We stayed there one night on the road from Sevilla to Malaga, in the weekend when hotelprices went 4 to 5 times over the normal price because of the Dia de la Constitucion long weekend. Crazy. However this family was not going along with this and just asked the normal price. Some other who were on the real highways did the same but they looked worse then this charming hotel run by a really nice family. Good beds and big bath. Recommended for one night when on the road to Malaga. Nice pizza’s in the nearby village. Good breakfast in hotel, nice wine.

The staff were superb and super friendly. We had a good sized bedroom and bathroom with a lovely terrace. Stayed two nights and dined twice at the restaurant which served great food. A very nice place to stay.

Double bed was a little smaller than expected but comfy enough.

The inn owners were very accomodating and especially nice.

Some places were not very clean, like the filter and some corners in the bathroom. The dog also had an agressive stance.

Excellent Hotel for staying overnight before flight back from Malaga. Beautiful location with very friendly staff. We just had time for a superb Evening meal. (Garlic Prawns were fantastic)

Excellent breakfast. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Bit cold at night

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the hotel. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They could not have done more to make us feel at home. We loved the landscapes and the food was excellent. Highly recommended. We are hoping to go there again next time we go back to Malaga.
