We have booked rooms with this hotel before on at least three previous trips to Cordoba and have not been disappointed this time or at any of the earlier visits. The hotel is at a really perfect location right beside the entrance to the Mezquita and in front of an outdoor seating area for coffee/breakfast. The interior of the hotel is really somewhat like a museum with paintings, furniture, and artifacts collected by the owner over the years and on display to hotel guests. We usually take in the hotel breakfast with is varied, healthy, and plentiful - it is a bargain as a way to start the day and the breakfast staff are polite and efficient, always. We have appreciated the support from the front desk staff with suggestions and assistance phoning for taxi when required. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay there again if on a future trip to Cordoba.

Situated right next door to la Mezquita which is a great advantage of this hotel. The hotel itself gives you a feeling of entering a gallery first which, to me, is also great as you immediately get this "antique" vibe. You can get a buffet breakfast there, 10€ per person. One can get to the hotel from bus/train station quite easily. The room was spacious enough, with AC, two single beds, a wardrobe and en suite bathroom. It is super close to various touristic attractions (the bridges, Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, etc.), there are lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, cafés, bars nearby. The city itself is perfect for walking - everything is close to each other and it is definitely worth just traipsing throught the narrow streets. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location just right next to the cathedral/mosque. Wifi works fine. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet which resulted in a good night sleep. The staff is welcoming and ready to assist and help you with the problems.

The day I arrived there was an unexpected rain and the room I was given was taking rain from the window even though it is closed and it was very cold. When I mentioned this problem, they have changed my room immediately and they apologized and explained that they were not expecting that much of a rain. There was not an escalator on the side of new room but the room was so comfortable and definitely better than the first one as it was a double room. The furniture is not so new and modern but the old ones goes well with the general ambiance of the hotel.

This little hotel is in a perfect location if you’re planning to visit the main historical sites. It’s directly across the lane from the Mosque-Cathedral and most everything else is not too far. The staff was nice, especially Pablo who we had the most interactions with. He was very helpful with dinner suggestions and anything else we needed. This area has many little shops and restaurants. There’s also a wonderful little leather shop across the lane in front, odd hours, but if you catch him when open don’t miss it.

They have a buffet type breakfast that looks good for 10€ but we didn’t want a big breakfast. It would be nice if we could’ve ordered just a croissant and coffee

As the name suggests, the hotel is right next to La Mezquita the main tourist attraction in Cordoba. It has a nice old style feel to it, with paintings and antique furniture in the common areas. There is a courtyard where self service breakfast can be taken for an extra 10 euros. My room at the back of the hotel was clean and very quiet. The staff were all very helpful.

The hotel was vey nice but when you step out the door you are right in the busiest part of Cordoba, where the narrow streets of the old city are crowded with tour groups and souvenir shops. La Mezquita the former mosque/cathedral, is best visited early in the morning or nearer closing time when it's quieter but don't miss it. It's an extraordinary building.

Great Central location. Hotel is very unique! Breakfast was great for 10€. Lots of coffee! Perfect central location for seeing everything. We had room 5 which had a Juliette balcony & viewed the mosque cathedral. Great except pack earplugs as noisy if you are a light sleeper. There is street cleaning & garbage pickup at night. Room was very clean & quite large. King sized bed. Bathtub with shower .

The view of the Mosque from the room, the nightly music of the flute player and people bustling, very asmry. The male receptionist was far more helpful and spoke better English, and attended to the needs faster and efficiently. it's close to the Roman Bridge, main train staion for day trips to Malaga, and centre of town. comfy beds. beautiful old windows but still modern to power on with the room keys. the foyer of the hotel looks like castle.

Both female receptionists were lazy and didn't look like they wanted to be there. I asked for extra shampoo, the male receptionist got me some right away, the females said she can't now, tell her again later when she wasn't doing anything. There's only 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and bath gel. needs to be at least 2 bottles each.

Perfect location. Clean and spatious room with a view of the Mezquita. Strong wifi signal in the room. We skipped breakfast, as there are plenty of options within a few meters from the hotel.

No tea/coffee options in the room or in the hotel beyond breakfast. Add this, and the score will become 10. Not something under the hotel management's control, but still, a warning: rolling a suitcase through lovely cobbled streets of the old city on the way to the hotel may be an interesting experience. Taxi is advised.

Great location right next to the mezquita! I like the old, ancient feel. Long corridors full of authentic 16th and 17th century art and 17th and 18th century furniture, like in a baroque Palace. It's got an old-world feel, with all the modern conveniences! I could see the mezquita from my French balconies.

The bathroom had what looked like some black something on the shower tiles and on the floor next to the sink and the wall. The bedroom was just a tad small. There was an old cigarette burn on one of the bedside tables.

Fantastic location, right next to the Mezquita. As the Mezquita 'gardens' are open and free to get into, I could just walk through them all the time on my way to places so I got to really enjoy the main attraction I came for. So I booked a twin room (oddly it was cheaper then a single) and when I rocked up, I had 4 beds in the room. I was so happy this hotel had the confidence in me to find myself an orgy of 3 ladies to make use of the extra beds, I really respect the hotel for this. Sadly it didn't turn out the way we had all hoped but so nice they thought I could be capable of such a feat.
