Our family of 5 stayed in this quiet old city hotel for 2 nights. I could talk about how clean the rooms were, the great value for money, how strong the shower was or how comfy the beds were or how modern they look. The 15 minutes walk to the main sights in the old city is also a benefit I could talk about. The above said I prefer to talk about the father and son who manage this intimate 8 room family hotel with a welcoming attitude, humor, flexibility, generosity and first and foremost a home feeling, but not in the cliche way big brands talk about it. I could genuinely feel the hosts care. This is a great hotel for people who visit Cordoba. Highly recommended.

That they don’t have a branch in Seville….

The hotel has a parking lot just a short walk away, and all the main attractions are just about 20 minutes from hotel. New and clean, and have everything you need. We have a room on the first floor looking out to a courtyard. It's quiet. One thing I don't like is the window. There is only a small window at the corner of the room, and we can't open it as people can see us all the way to the bathroom. So we close it the whole time, and the door is frosted glass that allows some light in, but overall it feels a bit stuffy as there is no outside view. It doesn't bother my husband but I'm someone who always want large windows, it feels enclosed although the room is large enough. I still recommend this hotel especially if you drive and the location is great.

We had a warm welcome by the owner himself, who was a fantastic host. Not only kind, but extremely helpful and attentive. He offered a welcome drink, he recommended local restaurants and helped us with getting a mechanic to repair our flat tyre. He made the phone calls in Spanish for us and stayed with us when the mechanic arrived (everything was done within 15 minutes!). His private parking is also great, very near the house. The place is one of a kind, really romantic and stylish (an old local house restored but inside furnished to modern standards, there is a patio inside and a terrace even... Really comfy and quiet in a typical very narrow street) I would recommend it for couples for even longer stays. I wish we could have stayed longer here! (Important note: he communicates via WhatsApp and sends every detail about arrival, parking, etc. in advance.)

Small and very friendly hotel with a great location. Lovely breakfast/lounge area. Room had a good shower and comfy bed. This hotel has a style and charm of its own, lots of thought has gone into the service provided. The service felt very personal and nothing was too much trouble for Geraldo our host. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, very nicely presented.

Nothing much not to like! Wouldn’t describe the room as large or posh but it was comfortable and had everything that you would need at a good value price.

Everything! All the little touches starting with clear instructions, via WhatsApp, on how to get to the hotel's parking in a secure location close by. A kind welcome, and instructions to help with my stay in Cordoba. It was about 15 minutes walk along the river to La Mezquita and the Roman Bridge. The room was small but well decorated, clean and had all I needed for my two night stay. The roof terrace was great and the option to buy cold drinks was appreciated, as was the tasty breakfast.

charming, small, pleasant hotel. the staff (owners) are always friendly, attentive and helpful. It is a small hotel with 8 rooms, with two leisure areas: at the entrance and on the terrace, where you can drink a good wine in peace. I felt at home. Good location. a delight for breakfast.

Small and tranquil hotel in an old building but very nicely modernised. The proprietor, Geraldo and his son are very friendly and hospitable. Breakfasts are fabulous. A very relaxing place very close to the river and a short walk to the many local restaurants and to the main attractions.

This hotel is in a very quiet location, but close to bars and restaurants. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, bright and spacious, with comfortable beds. The bar and roof terrace were good for relaxing. The father and son who run the hotel were excellent hosts - they were extremely informative and accommodating, and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble for them.

I was travelling with a friend and we wanted to sleep in separate beds, so we booked a room with a queen-sized bed and sofa bed, but it should be noted that the sofa bed is probably more suitable for a child than an adult - it wouldn't fit anyone who's taller than 5'3". I was also surprised to be charged extra in order to use the hot tub/sauna, since there was no information about this when I read about the hotel facilities. However, it was worth paying more in order to have the area all to myself (you need to book ahead).

Superb hotel stay! Friendly, knowledgable, available--could not have asked for better hotel staff. The building is beautiful, clean, and crisply decorated. The room was comfortable and had great sun. We had breakfast at the hotel one morning, complete with a whole pitcher of freshly-squeezed orange juice. The location is wonderful; a 10 minute walk from La Mezquita on a quiet side street. We also reserved the hot tub and sauna one evening, which was incredibly relaxing. Cannot recommend this place enough!

A small family run hotel, situated about a 15 minute walk along the riverfront from the cities main attractions. A great location for visiting Cordoba. Welcoming and very helpful hosts plus a comfortable bed, made for a great stay.
