One of the best places I have stayed in a long while. Super friendly and helpful receptionist when I checked in. Comfortable room, better than I expected for the price. lots of sockets and a kettle. Excellent WiFi. by justGreat location within easy walking distance of the station and city centre. I loved it.

It is in a quiet side street which some people might not like and the room window faces into the courtyard so need to close the shutters for privacy

Whilst in an unassuming and quiet street, The Abadia is close to all the major landmarks, markets, and plenty of restaurants and shops. It's also only a 10 minute walk from the railway station. Check-in was very straightforward, and the receptionist gave us a map, with useful recommendations for buses, and walking routes. Our room was charming, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and had the benefit of a bath, for a hot soak, after a long day of walking. It was great to have a kettle and air-conditioning included in the price. Some countries charge extra.

There was nothing we didn't like. A fridge would be a useful addition in summer, but we used the large cupboard as a pantry, and my salad stayed fresh for 3 days. Others complained about the motion- sensor lights in the bathroom, but my husband just loosened the bulbs at night, so the lights didn't come on if we needed to use the loo. We didn't have a room overlooking the beautiful courtyard, but the street was very quiet, so it wasn't an issue for us.

The Hotel Abadia is a great place to stay in Granada. It's situated within walking distance of the centre of the city and its attractions. The Alhambra is fairly close, either via a beautiful, hilly walk or by bus. The staff are attentive and friendly and keen to assist. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and well appointed with a good bathroom, comfortable bed and strong wifi. The location may at first feel a little far from the cathedral area and nain tourist sites but once you've walked it a couple of times it's really nothing. A bonus here is the beautiful Moorish style patio where guests can relax with a drink. Great value for money and recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel in Granada, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is cosy and beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of traditional Spanish charm and modern comfort. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the historic Alhambra and the vibrant city center, allowing easy access to all the sights and attractions Granada has to offer. My room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This hotel offers incredible value, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada – I will definitely be returning!

The staff was very friendly, I got useful tips and help in everything I needed. Very good location in small street close to the center. San Juan de Díos is the next street, with grocery shop, coffeeshops (Atypica is a recommendation), bakeries, and baroque basilica. Nice patio in the middle, enough space in the room. The room was well equipped, with towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, electric kettle etc.

Just little details: The windows close very well, you have to open them often for ventilation (there is no tilt function). A few tea bags would be nice, for the first evening :)

Even if I choose this hotel like last minute (due to lack of time and free transfer by taxi from airport) it was great choice. Peacefull location, really quite rooms (i did not remember, when I slept all the night long without interuption in hotel). I had room with bathtube in 3rd floor with view to street. Ladies and gentleman, if you like tea or coffee in the room, please take packs or this beverage with you - on the room is only kettle. Reception is open only to 21:00 (information about time to 23:30 is wrong) and sometimes only to 20:30...

The hotel is in a very convenient location for the train station and the town. We upgraded to the top floor suite. There was a nice outdoor balcony, en-suite bathroom and a good sized TV in the room. Also, the helpful lady on reception was able to lend us a phone charger as we didn't have one with us.

The room had a kettle, but no tea coffee or milk. Unfortunately, there was heavy rain through the night and there was quite a lot of noise from the window in the sloping roof. As we are light sleepers, this disturbed our sleep. But it may not bother some people.

Central location tucked away on a quiet street. Made a good base for out time in Granada, as it was reasonable to walk anywhere from the property. The only time we needed any other transportation was arriving and leaving to get to the bus station, but even that was quite simple using the local bus. We appreciated being able to store our bags after check-out.

The walls are quite thin - so it is possible to hear everything going on around you remarkable clearly. We could clearly follow our neighbours conversations...

Location of the Suites was great for the main train station and local buses to the Alhambra. We appreciated the large living area and it was well equipped for a couple, but short of some items if a family was staying. The courtyard setting was great.

The original booking was misleading as the suites (apartments) were at a different address, 600m away from the Hotel. This was not mentioned until the day before we arrived, to be told to go to a different address. As it turned out, the location of the suites was more convenient for transport, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. The kitchen chef's knife needs sharpening. No blankets were available for the cold overnight temperatures.

Hotel Abadia is fairly close to the station and whilst we had to walk through some dull streets to get to the hotel, our expectations were exceeded by the quality of the rooms and facilities. It looked as if the hotel/riad had just been refurbished with new lighting, electronics etc. The hotel had supplies of drinks and even supplied glasses to enjoy our bottle of wine. There was seating on the corridors and in a central area.

The room was a little small, and whilst there was a kettle and cups, there was no tea/coffee supplied and there was no fridge.
