The room was lovely although a mirror in the room would have been good. The only mirrors were in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space but not enough coat hangers. They were all the fixed type and could not be added to as there was no rail. Hanging space was only long enough for short dresses or skirts. My long dresses had to be left folded for our 4 night stay. All members of staff that we had contact with were very professional and knowledgeable about the area. They were also delightful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The evening meal that we had in the restaurant was very overpriced and not very memorable and lacking in flavour too. We had much better meals locally at half the price. It wasn’t surprising that it was almost empty every evening. When we booked there was an option to have breakfast at €20 each per day. We decided that we would walk into the town and have breakfast there each morning. €40 each day for breakfast was ridiculous as we don’t eat much at that time. However, when we arrived we found that there were other options available to us. We had toast and jam and a drink for under €11 for both of us each day. That was exactly what we wanted.

I'm not much of a walker, so sightseeing from the hotel took some effort, especially in the rain (which I'm not used to). Breakfast was plentiful and relatively healthy - good idea to reduce the eggs and 🥓.

The hours for the bar and restaurant didn't match those promised on the internet site. I spent one afternoon without eating - no big problem since I'm overweight 😃

Good location with two easy walks into town. Breakfast choice should have been much better given the cost of the room.

Breakfast should have been better with greater food choice. Too much emphasis on self service at meal time. Under ground garage an absolute no, no. Far too difficult Roget your area in. Managed to damage my rental car on approach, drive in far too tight!

Staff were exceptionally nice and let us check in early. Really good breakfast - we stayed 4 days and had breakfast at the hotel every day. It's a buffet with same choice each day, and everything is fresh and good quality. Including lots of fruit, homemade yoghurt and cake. We went in second half of June and the hotel seemed quiet and relaxed. 10 mins to the town centre and you don't need to walk any steps - there are open-air escalators that take you to the village. Hondarribia itself is a hidden gem.

The room was small however well equipped. The hotel is gorgeous with an excellent staff, the restaurant and personnel were excellent. Definitely a super stay for travelers. The hotel was booked for the following eve or we would have stayed over, a memorable destination.

We wish our particular room was larger.

Very comfortable hotel, clean, modern decor, friendly staff and breakfast was very good with lots of choices and fresh fruit and pastries.

Everything was very nice, only thing to make it better would be a pool in the garden.

Only complaint was breakfast at 18 Euros per person. We did not book this in advance and had to pay 3 Euros more for the privilege! Do not understand this policy The buffet was well organized and all sanitary rules adhered to. We all ordered freshly cooked food and were horrified to see 2 fried eggs a with a transparent slice of fat supposedly bacon. Our friends ordered toast with avocado and poached egg which was stone cold and almost raw. After sending it back the same half eaten slice of toast reappeared with the same cold egg We did complain at reception and they gave a 10 percent discount. We felt a little cheated having paid 72 Euros for the four of us.

Friendly staff, in a nice area, although a little away from the town, you need a car

Had to pay for the parking and you have to do a lot of manoeuvring with the car as the garage is under the hotel, with very little room.

it is a bit like staying in a sterile airport lounge - the location is quite a walk from the centre but I think the issue more is there was no atmosphere in the hotel.

Nice and quiet location and near tapas bars and old town. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Lovely view from our bedroom.

That we only had time to spend a night there.
