The Hotel Blancafort is an iconic destination in La Garriga. It's a beautiful old building with a large spa with both indoor and outdoor pools and massage and treatment options. The room was a good size, the bathroom was massive and had a bathtub. The breakfast was great too and quite varied. Would definitely recommend getting it!

The hotel has seen better days, the paint in the bathroom was cracked, the lamp shades were torn and the reception staff were pretty unfriendly.

Showers didn’t work in an otherwise fabulous Spa. Dinner was not available on our second night. ‘Restaurant’ full. We had a meal in town. Phone call from reception at 9.pm to say ‘didn’t you have a table at 8?’. No one told us.

the gardens were lovely and the spa pools were very enjoyable but crowded at times. we loved the different iced water that was available to drink in the spa area. the breakfasts were very good, with plenty of different things to chose from

the gym equipment wasn’t working and no one seemed interested when we reported this. reception was very busy at times, more staff are needed on arrival/departure days. it would be nice if the bar/cafe in the main entrance area of the hotel was open, it would be a lovely place to stop for a drink at different times of day

We went to the hotel for the Fiesta de San Juan, a special Christian night celebrated on the 23rd of June every year, the night before St. John's day; the patron Saint of Catalunya. It was a well planned and jolly occassion starting with a Cava reception at 8.30pm followed by an excellent outdoor dinner to the sound of violinist who then turned her skills to a cello and later an vibrant electric cello as the gathering got more lively. The fireworks didn't really disturb the event despite going on until about 3am. It is a short drive from Barcelona and a good escape for a more tranquil setting.

The problem with spa resorts is their maintenance. Despite a very good choice of treatments several of the ancilliary equipment was not working nor was the nearest lift to take us up to our bedroom on the first floor. It was a 75m walk to the lift at the other end of the building. Spa resort really should make sure all the equilpment on offer is working.

Excellent facilities, very well kept, clean and attractive buildings, gardens, breakfast excellent. Nothing at all that I didn't like. Facial superb, have never had such a good treatment

Maybe a full length mirror in the bedroom would have been nice, and a little surprised that there wasn't a steam room. I found the large spa "bubble" pool a little too deep for comfort.

The overall experience was so nice. Good vibes, wonderful spa, breakfast so good! It was a nice relaxing weekend. I will repeat for sure!

The temperature at the room was on the lower limit and the blanket a little too thin. Parking is not longer for free.

Breakfast/dinner were excellent. Junior suite is very comfortable for families.

Some installations in SPA were not working. Price for children’s menu at dinner could be lower taking into account that normally children eat only 1 dish.

The area was great and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and gave me another room without hesitation when the one I had booked was not properly cleaned

The hotel needs an update as much seems outdated and worn down

We visited the hotel as our son got married nearby. The hotel was in a beautiful location near the town. The restaurant was excellent, it had a great variety and the breakfast was brilliant. The spa was amazing, and the pool also had a lovely calming waterfall

Everything was amazing

I payed for a balcony and the put me in the smallest room. On day 3 they finally moved me to the correct room. But only took $20 per day off the bill for the first 2 days. That does not make up for the money I lost.
