-Employees at Poseidon were excellent. They went above and beyond the scope of their jobs. I found the majority of them to be, not only professional, diligent, and accommodating, but pleasant and inviting as well. Haven't experienced this in a while. Maybe one of twice at 5-star hotels in Mexico City or in Puerto Rico. Certainly not, as yet, in Spain. -Lunch buffet was excellent. -View from my room was amazing. -Loved the Spa whirlpool.

-Not enough outlets in room to charge electronics. -Hot water jacuzzi out of order -Turkish saunas out of order -all three. -Cleanliness all around, hotel, room, and spa, was ok. Could be taken up a notch to 4-star standards. -Breakfast and dinner were okay, with room for improvement.

This lovely hotel is situated on the La Manga peninsula. So, one side faces the Mediterranean, and the other faces the Mar Menor laguna. The hotel is very close to two beaches on either side. There are several all-purpse shops nearby and a great cafeteria opposite with a shaded outside terrace. All the staff at Hotel Poseidon were welcoming, friendly, and efficient throughout our stay. Hola to Pablo, Allejandro, Antonio, and all the sweet guys and girls who served us in the dining room. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both excellent and included show cooking. The AC was great, and the WiFi was very strong throughout the hotel. The spacious pool bar leads to a large terrace, which then leads to the two pools and the two jacuzzi - I spent hours here - a peaceful space. There were cabaret artists each night. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean - excellent maid service each day. I really do hope to return to Hotel Poseidon. Muchas gracias mis amigos.

Hotel had 2 sides the tranquil side and the noisy road side alas I was not fortunate you will notice road noise room fridge made the right noise but kept contents warm ? Don't like corporate Internet, small hotels work fine without it ,breakfast was a large choice but included a lot of hot and cold meats , not so good for us vegetarians

Thank you hotel was beautiful. Staff was amazing, kind and friendly. Especially Pueblo on the reception. Nothing was not too much trouble. Little strict around the pool especially when we are adults. But it doesn’t do what it says Adults only no children. They was a child there around 10 year old throwing herself in the jacuzzi and nothing was said to them! We had some meals in the hotel well worth the money. No real negativity. Had a great time . Activities lady was fantastic especially in the pool Thank you

I did like a view from our balcony and bathroom window - just amazing. I really like staff working in hotel - from reception, restaurant and cleaning ladies ' everyone were very nice and kind. I did like swimming pool and jacuzzi, and localisation of this hotel.

From my personal view , I did not like air con in bar and restaurant areas - sometimes was freezing cold, and not so plesure to stay longer..Some facilities - eg. lift - from previous time...

We loved the pool, location and the beautiful view from the room. All the reception stuff were really kind and helpful.

Breakfast could include more fruits and vegetables. We really missed some fresh vegetables to breakfast, like tomatoes or cucumber. A lot of personal stuff doesn’t speak English at all and as a tourist, the communication was very hard. The room would need a deeper cleaning. The curtains were really really dirty in room 416.

Staff were all 100% bedroom was spacious bed was comfy champagne breakfast every morning €4 Cocktails and €2 for a pint a local Beer ya cant go wrong with that although we drank the hotel out of selected cocktails each day they had plenty of others to choose from.

food selection not my personal taste but could suit others as there was plenty to choose from snack bar selection also not my personal choice of items ran out of different cocktails every day

Helpful staff. Beautiful room and bathroom, spacious, with fantastic view. Deck with basic furniture. Location was great as we had a car. Parking nearby was easy to find.

Sheets not changed in 5 nights - in a hot climate. Pool closed at 7pm when the sign said 8pm. The spa pools were barely warm, very disappointing. Dinner buffet - nice salads but the cooked pork was very tough and dry. Desserts were varied but not to my taste. One chair in the large bedroom.

The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is very close to the beaches- I can’t believe some people have moaned about crossing the road in their reviews - it’s so easy, and there is a pedestrian crossing right outside the hotel. it takes 2 mins to get to each beach! The room was lovely, nice and modern with a nice powerful shower. There was plenty of choice at the breakfast and dinner buffets- especially if you like fish! We were able to check in early which was fantastic, and overall we had a superb stay wt the hotel!

Not even any water was included with the evening meal which was disappointing (we were on half board not all inclusive). Also, like in many hotels, there isn’t any soundproofing, so we were woken up by rowdy Spanish pensioners returning to their room when the bar closed (we’re in our 40s!).

The ease of parking ( was just before the 3 month June-Sept Spanish school holidays). The reception staff, serving staff and cleaners were all fantastic. The room (Mar Menor lake view) was great (room 501). The food was also excellent at breakfast and evening meal. The bed and pillows are exceptional.

The hotel location is not near other shops and bars. So pretty reliant on hotel for entertainment but you could get a taxi or drive quite easily to other places. Like all other hotels around the world the banging doors drive you nuts. You can actually shut them quietly but others don't seem to bother.
