Winederful was wonderful! Very clean and quiet. Facilities are like-new and extremely clean and neat. Very hot showers and warm rooms (the floor may have been heated, as well). It has everything you would need, with comfy shared spaces and a cafe. Very safe and secure. Easy to come and go and a great central location that is easy to find. All the staff are really kind and helpful, especially Juan at the desk and the woman who was tidying up the rooms in the morning. Definitely the best hostel experience I’ve had anywhere in the world! Highly recommend staying here and will be returning on my next trip to Logroño!

Everything was perfect!

The property is centrally located on the main plaza adjacent to the beautiful 12th Century Cathedral de Santa María. There are several stand out features regarding this albergue which includes superior pod like sleeping berths, each with a USB charging point, a reading light and a privacy curtains. They also provide fresh, crisp like cotton sheets and pillow case and a warm blanket should you need. Each bed comes with its own security footlocker and key to store your valuables. Also there is no ridiculous curfew restrictions that I found in a lot of albergues on the Camino. Access to the building and individual dorms are via a security pad code, which is both efficient and effective. Facilities aside, the most stand out feature of the Winederful albergue is the staff. Every single member were both attentive and sympathetic to all the needs of weary travels. Two member of staff made my stay there simply wonderful. The first person was the cleaning lady Yolesa. I never seen a person work so hard, but always with a smile and even lifted my heavy rucksack to my bunk. Such a genuinely person. The second outstanding member of staff was Mario. He is such an asset to this albergue. A kind caring gentleman that provided a level of customer service you would expect at a 5 Star hotel. The guy is a polyglot, speaking 4 languages fluently and was so patient with everyone! His genuine flair for making people feel comfortable with his humour, intelligence and knowledge is unsurpassed in any facility I have ever stayed in Spain and further afield. Well done Winderfful

Absolutely zero!!!!

It was well located near the Redonda Cathedral and close to many restaurants with tapas and pintxos. The kitchen was small but tidy and functional. It had a toaster oven, fridge and serving utensils. The common area had ample seating. I like not sharing a room with too many people. Although it did get very noisy in the morning as people bustled around to leave for the Camino de Santiago. I was, unfortunately, forced to wake up much earlier than I intended. The private bathroom was a huge advantage. The bed was comfortable with a privacy curtain, plug, and bed light. The locker drawer just under the raised bed was large and deep.

The lady at the front desk was a bit aloof, but the gentleman was quite friendly and polite.

We would have preferred the option to have a smaller room to book for just 2 of us. It was our choice to pay extra to have a room with multiple beds, just for 2 of us as we need a private room but it would have been an excellent review if there had been an option of a twin room for example without the extra cost. There were a lot of notices with 'rules' and information about fines for non-compliance, which seemed to take the place of a hands-on personal 'patron'. The self-serve kitchen area was messy and covered with rubbish by evening and in the morning which was a shame, as there wasn't enough rubbish bin space.

Such a refreshing stay here after walking from St Jean! Mario the receptionist was a legend, gave me a lovely welcome (he has some tantalising cakes in that hostel cafe!). The room was clean, bathroom was fabulous (towels provided!) and the dorm beds were very sturdy with those lovely curtains to provide privacy for each bed. There’s a small kitchen to prepare food but not really necessary given the incredible pintxos along the Calle del Laurel!

Honestly I can’t think of anything - bravo!

I've stayed at Winederful twice, once for a week while looking for apartments in Logroño, another time when returning from a multi-day bike trip. They are a camino hostel, but I found it comfortable to live there for a whole week. They have bike storage, a nice cafe, a nice common space, and a useful little kitchen. For the price, this is a reliable hostel to stay in if you're in Logroño for a few days.

The bathrooms could be a little better, but they're as clean as most other hostels I've stayed in.

Key selling point of this accommodation is location- right next to Plaza del Mercado @ Calle del Laurel ( possibly the best pintxo/wine in the entire country). Dorm was spotless- comfy bed- sheets/ blanket/ private locker underneath/ light / charging point and bed curtain. Modern bathroom located within the room which helped. Air conditioning throughout the property- a must in 40c heat in August! Best Hostel I have stayed in worldwide. Easy check-in/ check - out. Thank you Elena !

Wonderfully situated in excellent central location. The Winederful Hostel & Cafe was a comfortable stay. Super clean throughout , I especially liked the beds with proper sheets and pillow cases and a curtain for privacy. Would like to thank Helena for going the extra mile to support my stay, nothing phased her, thanks. Would definitely return. Highlight! The glass entrance door is activated by a hand movement, very Gandalf!

I didn’t really see a washing machine anywhere? Maybe I missed it?

The beds in the shared rooms are comfortable and have a curtain which allows for privacy while sleeping (beds also have a locked drawer to safely store your belongings). There is a nice kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The hostel offers secure storage for bikes in a locked room for just 2€. The staff was very kind and helpful to any inquiry. The location is unbeatable, literally a couple hundred metres from the cathedral.

The shared bathroom in my room could've been cleaner.

Location was perfect. Right behind the Cathedral and a 5 min walk from the lively Calla Laruel. Bed was large and comfortable and had a privacy Curtin, reading light and charger. Towels and locks were provided. Everything you needed to cook was available in the kitchen.

There was no tea or coffee for guests unfortunately and rubbish wasn’t segregated into plastic, compost but other than that it was good. Sandra who checked my in works very hard.
