This is the second time we have stayed at the Paradores de lorca. The location is absolutely stunning. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind and always smiling. We recieved fantastic service whilst having a wonderful breakfast and dinner. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. We can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful hotel.

During our first stay the hotel staff put a complimentary bottle of wine and cakes in our room as it was my birthday on the 12th August. They even presented me with a birthday cake during dinner. It would have been nice to recieve this during our second stay. We missed this extra touch.

We had a lovely 2 days, the castle and synagogue is well worth spending a couple of house. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast and lunch were good however. We did not use the pool or spa so no comment on this. The coffee machine was not working in the room

The Dinner in the restaurant was extremely expensive. We did not mind paying the 90 euros per couple per night had the food matched the price. Unfortunately if you did not like fish or pork there was not much else. Not sure what style it was trying to be but it failed. Because of this we would not return which is a shame as everything else was good.

The bedroom room was large and comfortable. The view from the room was over part of the castle and some of Lorca City. Breakfast we good with reasonable selection, and they were actually able to serve a proper teapot with black tea.

The café bar was only accessible by walking through the dining room. we had expected to find an established bar as its own unit. However, there were only 6 tables and you were kind of tagged onto the dining room. In fact as more people arrived they were placed at spare tables in the dining room. With a bit of thought it would be possible to make small arrangements to the layout and separate it slightly from the diners. The café bar was neither comfortable nor welcoming.

The views from the hotel were magnificent. The room facilities in the junior suite were good. Restaurant was very good.

The Spa customer service was very poor. Nobody at desk and asked a guest about changing rooms and there wasn't one. Had to get robes from reception. Got back to spa still no one at desk so no towels available. There were a number of guests taking advantage of no one at desk to go into the spa without reservation. consequently it was full of people. Asked the hotel to get me grandstand tickets for the Easter parade and they said they couldn't do it. The swimming pool temperature at 28 degrees was quite cold and not welcoming.

Mainly superb. The setting is magnificent, and actually not too much of a hike if on foot. The bedroom was huge and extremely comfortable. Excellent bathroom. Fabulous breakfast offering everything you could imagine. The swimming pool was lovely-not at all cold. Restaurant food was very good.

The pool is part of the spa, so has very limited opening times. If you want to eat in the town the options are limited and the walk back is steep, through a rather run-down area.

Location superb particularly if you enjoy history and visit the castle surrounding the hotel. Lorca center was quite walkable. So clean and tidy. Everything perfect.

Breakfast was really terrible. Perhaps the worst I have attended. Coffee machines of domestic quality and only tepid. Big queues. Asked for eggs and bacon which was totally overdone eggs were solid. I spoke to the lovely staff who couldn’t apologise more. In fact coffee for our table of four was bought from the Bar. Much better. Definitely stay again but will breakfast in Lorca.

The Parador is lovely. The rooms are spacious and the views are terrific. The bathroom is well equipped with soap and shampoos. The towels are large and soft.

There is not a path from the Parador to the town below. They suggested that we drive or order a taxi. We walked instead on the main room. Also disappointed with the breakfast service. They only had one employee greeting guests, taking orders for coffee and eggs and cleaning the tables. He was overwhelmed.

I stayed at the hotel with my two teenagers for 5 nights and we had a fantastic stay! The hotel suprised us in any positive way. From the architecture that was absolutely fantastic - blending in with the old castle, to the spacious rooms with gourgeous view, the very attentive staff and the restaurant that had tasty high quality food on their menu. Lorca is close to so many interesting places. The value for money is amazing!

Loved everything

The hotel´s staff was kind, accessible and professional. the room was very nice.

The accommodation is good, except 1) the quality of the beds, the mattresses were old and not comfortable. 2) Access to the hotel is obligatory by car or taxi, impossible by foot, this is something not clear in the advertising of the hotel. 3) breakfast is 20 euros, which is overpriced for a standard selection.

We arrived by bicycle and were able to keep our bikes in a secure cycle storeroom. The views from the Lorca Parador are great, though our room didn't actually have the best view it was still pleasant. The ambience of the terrace bar was lovely, if a little windy, The air conditioning was very effective and the quietest I have ever come across. We have visited the Castle which adjoins the hotel before, and would recommend visiting it and the old castle remains around the Parador. All in all a great experience.

We were very happy with the whole stay, nothing negative to say. (All the information about the facilities of the Lorca Parador is available via a QR code which was stuck to the phone by the side of the bed which I didn't see until we were about to leave, I personally don't like using QR codes and it maybe a hang over from pandemic days, but maybe it suits other people better.)
