Las Persianas Azules is a beautifully located farm house turned into a guest house. We stayed there on our way from Malaga to Valencia and this location suited us perfectly. It is very calm, secluded, surrounded by almond orchards. The house itself is very well maintained, clean and comfy. We stayed in a small double room which was not a problem for a single night, though. We loved the swimming pool (although it was a little cold in October to make use of it). Breakfast was nice and satisfying. Great value for money. And don't miss the stunning views in the nearby Purrullena. We are definitely coming back some time early spring to see the almond trees blossom.

Nothing. The land lady put a lot (too much?) emphasis on strict obedience of the house rules which perhaps was somewhat over the top and unnecessary (eg the signage that glasses are to be used only for wine bought at the bar), breakfast at 9am sharp... :).

We previously booked this hotel and for some reason we need to stay a day more, and we rebooked it. this hotel is clean and nice, and the staff very gently. the bed is excellent, and the breakfast also (excellent). Very nice place to hike in the Neighbour. Very recommendable if you want a quiet and nice place.

You need an auto to go there, A little difficult to found. The sign of the hotel is only visible in one direction of the road. you need to lunch or dinner in the town.

It is located in a beautifully quiet location so it’s a great choice if you want a peaceful, quiet break. It has an excellent pool area with a great view of the open landscape which is very nice to spend the day at. I have to add at the time we stayed there it was off season and so few people were there which made the common areas even more appealing. The owner serves an excellent breakfast and three course evening meal which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. It was a very convenient location, just off the motorway and good value for money.

Nothing although it could have a water filter for guests to use to be a bit more environmental.

The host, Elisabeth was lovely. The price for what you got was amazing and the rooms and dining areas were spotless with fabulous mountain views. You felt as if you were in a Western movie!! Except for the fact that it had a lovely pool. Honestly I just want to stay again. Elisabeth as a little honesty fridge too with water, beer and wine! The guest house has just a handful of rooms and we met a lovely couple from Australia - I would imagine that as the house is quite isolated you will usually get to know your fellow guests. The place was in the mountains away from everything yet only a 40 minute walk to the stunning Spanish town of Veléz Rubio which we adored. We used google maps to find the way down the mountain (more steep hill than mountain - no climbing required but wouldn't recommend returning on foot in the dark) We loved the Spanish town and the authentic bars in Velez Rubio - lovely helpful people. We loved our 2 night stay

Super clean, nice rooms, very friendly staff. Excellent bed. You can hike in the mountains nearby. As you see in the photos it is a very quiet place. The breakfast is excellent 5 star. You need a car to arrive and to transport to the nearest town.

Out of season you need to go to the town to get meals, only breakfast is available.

a beautiful place with stunning views. at night you can see a thousand stars. we were lucky enough to experience persus metor shower. the rooms are pleasant with an authentic decor. the best night sleep we've ever had. Breakfast is a delight with home made touches . all served by the lovely hostess who is very welcoming and attentive.

Super friendly host, nice and comfortable room. Breakfast was also tasty and varied.

One thing to keep in mind is that the road to the parking has 100m of quite uneven and unpaved surface (I could not have driven in with my personal car but the Fiat 500 rental was fine).

A lovely, quiet, secluded retreat to get away from it all, only a few km from Velez-Rubio. Breakfast is a highlight, varied, tasty and healthy (and plentiful...). Elisabeth is an honest, charming, hard-working hostess, a good human being.

Nothing special. There is no AC, but this was not a big problem as long as you work with nature, keeping out the sun during the day, airing in the evening etc. Nightime temperatures were actually fairly cool.

Location. Only 4 kms off motorway but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. For us, so peaceful after the hustle and bustle of cadiz and sevilla. Breakfast was delicious 😋

The host is very nice and hospitable! Breakfast was really good and tasty, especially homemade pancakes. We loved how fresh the air was and almond trees that surrounded the house :)
