Excellent location, we could easily go anywhere on foot and if needed the metro was just a few minutes away. The room itself was clean with comfortable beds and medium sized bathroom. Towels, shower gel and shampoo (single product) were included and it would be convenient to provide some hand soap as well. Check in and check out was fast and efficient with polite staff. Overall a very pleasant experience which exceeded expectations of the "value for money" category. Would visit again for sure.

As other reviews have already mentioned the hostel is on the fourth floor and and there is no elevator, which was not an issue for us, however, accessibility wise it should be mentioned (the staff is kind to help with your luggage though). The signpost is a bit small and not very visible so it was a bit complicated to find the entrance of the hostel at first.

The location was perfect, right in the center of Madrid. Also the room was clean and organized, it had all the essentials. It had power plugs near the beds right on top of the night stands. The AC was perfect and kept the room cool and cozy. The balcony was small (has expected) but gave a more open sensation to the stay. Internet was nice. And the rooms are well insulated never heard the neighbors while they were in there rooms.

The rooms of the hostel are in the fourth floor and there is no elevator. The bathroom was good, but the shower wouldn't drain properly and it left a little puddle at the drain that took a minute to drain, however this never got close to flooding the bathroom so not a major issue.

The pod and most of all Mateo at reception. He was top class customer service to me. Also the kitchen facilities were outstanding and very clean entire place. Will always stay here for ever. The boss/owner of the place was a very kind and good person from my perspective.

Would like it to be a bit cheaper.But wouldn't we all.

Location, the people, and the price of the first night. It's next to a great cocktail bar, Baton Rouge with a decent tequila and mescaline selection. Tell Diego the owner that Neto sent you. We wanted to stay an extra day but the rates nearly tripled on Friday, should have known for being in such a great location and the weekend coming up. That and the parking is super expensive, cost as much as our night stay. Both of those are more of a Madrid issue and not specific to the hotel. Wish we could of afforded another night, it's best to book for a Monday. You live you learn, the hotel was an ideal place to stay in in the center of it all.

management would be there from around 9am and there mobile phone would go off in th hall way which would wake guests up.

The room was a good size, comfy beds, good AC, didn't hear any noise from street or other rooms. The location is perfect, very close to the city center. We had a problem with the shower head holder in the first day, but as soon as we asked the reception they came very quickly to fix it.

The stairs are a very good leg workout, the rooms are very high up the building, so would not recomend if you have any mobility problems. I could recomend some kind of sign in front of the door to identify the hotel (and maybe the whatsapp number of the reception), since the intercom is not working great to get in for check in. And most of the time is hard to contact reception if only knocking on the door. Took me a while to realise that I should send messages instead of going to the reception. Last thing is the shower gel + shampoo in one product, I particularly don't like. But, I mean, that's not really a problem. Overall we had a great stay and was a really good place for the price we could afford.

The beds are very comfortable and loved the shower also.
