The location was amazing, so central! The building was old with an old type of lift which gave it a special character. The room was small but pleasant. You could open and close the windows, everything was clean. There was an air conditioning (if someone likes it) and „hilo musical”! ;) There was also an extra large fan. You didn’t have to pay any deposit or extra fees for towels, the lady who received us was super nice and helpful. We really enjoyed staying here.

The messages from the hotel were sent automatically via the app so I never received any reply to my question. Maybe that could be improved. But when I called the hotel, everything was fine.

The landlady was lovely and the property has a homely feel, although this isn’t for everybody. It felt very safe.

Lack of Air conditioning, however my room was overlooking a shaded courtyard so wasn’t hot.

The location is just very good, 2 squares away from Puerta del Sol and a couple of squares away from the Thysen or Prado Museums, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I guess that for the location the price is alright, however, the place has seen better days, the bathroom always is smelly, I could hear water driping in the water box the whole night, and the most frustrating thing wasbthat I could hear everything from the reception as if they were in my room, so all the guests leaving during the night would wake me up.

Although the facilities are dated, this is still a very nice hostel. The clean rooms will make you forget the unpleasantness of the facilities, and the price in the heart of Madrid during the peak tourist season will make you more determined to choose it.

The wireless network must be upgraded! Whether it is coverage or speed, if you have office needs, please carefully consider the network issues of this hostel.

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from Puerta del Sol, and a bit away from the crowds and noise. Staff was friendly, and though we were warned that there was no A/C, the room had a good floor fan and it wasn't uncomfortable. For the budget price, you get a very decent stay. There was even a great breakfast place on the same block.

Lighting was a bit dark in the hall, and the wall adjacent to another apartment was thin so you could hear people talking.

Lilian, the host, is a very frendly, hospitable and professional lady. I felt unwell during my stay and needed some first aid. She prepared me ginger tea and went the extra mile making sure i had soep to eat. She checked up on me every morning asking how i felt. She is a beautiful host.

The bathroom is very tiny but very clean.

The best place, the best location, you are in the center of all the important places to see, it takes minutes to get there, they have the most lovely staff who help you with everything, they are attentive and friendly if you don't understand something, the rooms are clean and tidy. When I come to Madrid for the third time, I will definitely try to book this hotel if it is available. Thanks to the staff for hosting

The place is in a great location, all attractions can be reached very quickly on foot. The woman who received us was very nice and friendly. The ratio of quality and price is excellent! The rooms are definitely not luxurious, they do not match the photos, but for those who want a comfortable place to spend the night, this is a great choice.

The rooms could have tea facilities, you can't hear the noise of the city at all, but you could hear what was happening in the corridor perfectly, it's a little distracting, but it really doesn't interfere with resting.

The room is outdated but clean. The location is very good as it is very central and therefore close to everything. Next door is la Rollerie a very nice coffee shop for breakfast, I went there every morning, this was very convenient.

For the price the room could be revamped.

Great location, within walking distance of La Puerta del Sol, plaza. The Hop On Hop off bus stops a few steps from the hotel,; many restaurants around and mos offer "Menudel día" a 3 course meal with a drink, that saves a lot. Lilian, the manager was very helpful. The room is small and basic, jus like you will find all across Europe, but better than some I've stayed. Can't ask for more of a budget stay.

Rooms aren't as quiet as you would hope, but we were exhausted at the end of each day, it wasn't an issue at all.
