The landlady was lovely and the property has a homely feel, although this isn’t for everybody. It felt very safe.

Lack of Air conditioning, however my room was overlooking a shaded courtyard so wasn’t hot.

The location is just very good, 2 squares away from Puerta del Sol and a couple of squares away from the Thysen or Prado Museums, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I guess that for the location the price is alright, however, the place has seen better days, the bathroom always is smelly, I could hear water driping in the water box the whole night, and the most frustrating thing wasbthat I could hear everything from the reception as if they were in my room, so all the guests leaving during the night would wake me up.

Although the facilities are dated, this is still a very nice hostel. The clean rooms will make you forget the unpleasantness of the facilities, and the price in the heart of Madrid during the peak tourist season will make you more determined to choose it.

The wireless network must be upgraded! Whether it is coverage or speed, if you have office needs, please carefully consider the network issues of this hostel.

The best place, the best location, you are in the center of all the important places to see, it takes minutes to get there, they have the most lovely staff who help you with everything, they are attentive and friendly if you don't understand something, the rooms are clean and tidy. When I come to Madrid for the third time, I will definitely try to book this hotel if it is available. Thanks to the staff for hosting

The place is in a great location, all attractions can be reached very quickly on foot. The woman who received us was very nice and friendly. The ratio of quality and price is excellent! The rooms are definitely not luxurious, they do not match the photos, but for those who want a comfortable place to spend the night, this is a great choice.

The rooms could have tea facilities, you can't hear the noise of the city at all, but you could hear what was happening in the corridor perfectly, it's a little distracting, but it really doesn't interfere with resting.

Great location, within walking distance of La Puerta del Sol, plaza. The Hop On Hop off bus stops a few steps from the hotel,; many restaurants around and mos offer "Menudel día" a 3 course meal with a drink, that saves a lot. Lilian, the manager was very helpful. The room is small and basic, jus like you will find all across Europe, but better than some I've stayed. Can't ask for more of a budget stay.

Rooms aren't as quiet as you would hope, but we were exhausted at the end of each day, it wasn't an issue at all.

For the price its the best deal you can get in the central Madrid, clean, good location, and have all the basic things you will need.

The sound isolation is pretty bad, you can hear people making out next door like in detail, if you like that well free entertainment but I didnt enjoy people moaning the whole night on a personal level.

We stayed for one night, but it is a very comfortable facility where you can stay longer. The location is perfect, easy to reach, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable according to the standards of the region and the quality of service provided, and the lady at the reception was very kind. We were very happy with our stay.

I liked that the room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. The location was good but a fairly busy street so it would have been noisey if we had opened a window.

The lift was very old and I dont like lifts. So we walked up 3 flights of stairs that were not well lit.

Room not the largest, but perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfortable, I slept very well. The location close to Sol is excellent for resraurants, cafes, shopping, museums and sight seeing. The lady at reception was most helpful and has a very agreeable personaility.

For a budget hotel in Madrid there was nothing not to like. All good!
