The room we stayed in was beautiful, clean and had plenty of room with chairs to sit in. The bed was very large and very comfortable. There is aircon allowing the perfect temperature to sleep at night. We had a balcony to see and hear city life, but when the sliding door was closed, it was quiet and we couldn't hear the noise outside.The shower was newly remodeled and had 2 shower head options with plenty of hot water. The check-in process was easy and it was a good location by Plaza Merced and near the Alcazaba. I would definitely stay here again when the street and smell is fixed.

Unfortunately, the street in front of the hotel was ripped up and closed for repairs, so it was not pretty to look at. We were very happy to have a balcony, but unfortunately the ripped up street was our view. I'm not sure if this was related to the street work, as pipes and possible sewage pipes were exposed, but there was a terrible sewage smell inside the building. Thankfully, there was no smell in our room so that was great, but everytime we stepped out of our room or into the building, it was a punch in the face. Hopefully, with the street repaired and sewage smell gone, the experience can be greatly improved on a return visit. Lastly, the internet connection in our room was poor.

Customer service before and during the visit was superb. Nahir and Victor were friendly and available 24/7 to help. We misplaced our key and they took seconds to sort out the problem even though they weren't on site. The facilities are modern, clean and very comfortable. Recommended!

One of the rooms in the hotel was being refurbished so there was some noise and building materials left in the corridor one day, but disruption was minimal. Our room was in the attic, accesible by steps from the top floor, which wasn't a problem for us but would have been for someone with reduced mobility. There's a lift to the 3rd floor, attic is on the 4th.

Very helpful and friendly staff, it was really nice to practice Spanish with them. Clean and nice rooms, easy to find and location is close to everything.

Personally I didn't like the location that much as the streets are really busy the evening - the room was still quiet enough so it wasn't a problem. But for some it might be an ideal location. Our room had only a small window to the inside of hotel, no outside view at all. The room smelled ever so slightly damp but ac helped with that. Very minor complaints overall, I would go again if I wanted to stay in the old town of Malaga.

This was my second time staying at this accommodation and everything was fine, everyone is super kind. Actually they saved my holiday. This time I could not reserve a room here for the first try because they were fully booked during the Feria. So I went for an other apartment, but that was so bad I had to change. And the staff of Malaga City Suites helped me when I texted them. They had free rooms for my last 2 nights, so I just moved here. And I was satisfied with them just as like in the last year.

The bed was super soft and comfy. The room was huge and the bathroom amazing. Unfortunately I have only video and photos to share this amazing room. The location just great at the center but the most important was the welcoming from Victor. He is so friendly, gently and welcoming person. He is the best. Always smiling, super helpfully and polite person. Because of Victor I was trying to booking 4 more days but it was too late the hotel was full. 😭😭 The best place to live in Málaga 💗 I will come back soon and I will stay again in this beautiful hotel. Everything was just perfect!! I don't have something bad to say. The only bad was that I left nothing else 😅😭

Our room was the basic one, very clean and comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was clean and big enough for our needs. Victor, the host, was very kind and helpful! He was always cheerful and ready to help! We could leave our luggage before checking in at no extra cost! The accommodation is in the city centre very close to the cathedral, restaurants and supermarkets. Very good sleep quality We'll definitely come back! Thanks Victor, see you soon! ♥️

The pillows were too high for us, but for some days it was OK!

The hotel has a lovely large entrance hall and sweeping staircase. The room was big and tastefully decorated. Great shower and bathroom was a good size. The receptionist, Victor, was very helpful, friendly and funny.

Not the fault of the hotel but there were major roadworks going on right outside the hotel which were a little noisy at times. Maybe they should mention this on the website whilst it is going on- it should be finished soon though as it has been going on for a year now!

The location is perfect, very close to a number of great restaurants and shops. Also, the host was very friendly and helpful at all times, giving us amazing recommendations for beaches, restaurants and how to get to them. I would definitely stay here again.

You don’t really have space to hang your towels/bathing suits to dry after going to the beach. Also, the walls are kind of thin so you can hear everything going on in the other rooms.

Something that is common with many places I’ve stayed in Malaga, there is a persistent bad smell in the bathroom. In this case it could be because there was major work being done on the street in front of the building, so maybe the sewer lines aren’t draining properly. I’d ask about it before I booked again, but again, it’s happened at other places I’ve stayed here too and those places weren’t as nice as this one.

Central location to most sites. The man at reception was really nice and helpful, giving us brilliant recommendations. Shower had good pressure and was warm. Layout of room was nice.

Our air conditioning unit did not work so was little cold at night. We noticed a few ants and a cockroach in the room so we called the owner - he was understanding and moved us to another clean room and was an upgrade from our previous room, which was appreciated.
