We are a couple and stayed in a deluxe family suite - there are two fold-down bunk beds which, when not in use, have an armchair and table available. Bit of a crush for 4 people I'd say. There's very little hanging space for clothes if you are staying for more than a few days. Comfortable and large double bed with a lovely shower room. On the edge of the old town but close to the cathedral and Alcazaba. Good value for money.

Noisy on Saturday night (well obviously!) Neighbours rolled in at 04.30 and still had stuff to say (shout?) - guess my age group...

It is no surprise everyone is talking about the staff. I am sure they are talking about the same guy ( I hate myself that I forgot his name, think it was Hector?!) he honestly is the only reason we would go back to this hotel ! Easily the kindest person we met on our trip to Spain! Spoke very good English and was so helpful ! The hotel in general was next to everything within walking distance. Many bars/restaurants/shops around and a supermarket in 2’ distance. The room was clean but small and only had the basics. Generally a good option but nothing special. Except for our reception friend! I hope if you are reading this you are holding your baby, γεια σου φίλε ! :)

Room was a bit small and had no proper closet.

The location is the best aspect, I would say. We also appreciated the good AC in the room. It might sound silly, but it was boiling when we were there, so it was key for us to be able to rest properly to take our flight afterwards. The room is not really big, but it has everything you need, including a fridge that is super handy for cold water, for example, a TV, and also some plugs next to the bed to charge phones, etc. I've also found the bathroom quite pretty, with a rain shower.

I guess the only two complaints were that we didn't have a proper window and the little one we had was towards the corridor inside our own building, in our case, it wasn't a big deal as we only go for a night and also use the room to sleep and that's it. We were also surprised when we found a footprint in the wall or the bedsheet a bit ripped, strange, but nothing vital as it was in general clean.

Dena on reception was so lovely and helpful loads of information on what to do in Malaga and always put me as the customer first. Hotel is a fantastic location and want to go back and stay there again in March.

There was a cooing pigeon outside my window of the room that backs onto a small courtyard and early in the morning that woke me up but it became my alarm clock over the couple of days so no real harm. It would also be great if you could get breakfast in the hotel,but I didn't mind going out

The room was clean and modern. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful in spite of my poor Spanish. The bed had sheets and blankets instead of duvet, and excellent pillows. Fabulous central location but quiet street. There is an elevator in this building. Fabulous city with lots to see and do give yourself an extra day or two here, especially if you're going at a time of the year when you can go to the beach. NOTE: There is good public transit in Malaga but Google is not the best way to find it. There is a bus to the Castillo at the top of Mount Gibralfaro on the east side of city, but unfortunately I had walked all the way up before I discovered there was public transit almost to the top. I was really glad I did not have to walk back down though!

I had an inner room with no view - just a window six feet up into the central "courtyard". Not a problem for me as basically only use my room to sleep and read.

The hotel was very central to the old town. Victor was so kind and helpful. He provided a kettle for us , as requested and helped us acess more accommodation by calling the hotel for us. He was very friendly , considerate, and quite clearly, a lovely man .! We would go back there again. Other staff we met were also very helpful. Leaving our bags there fir a while , after checkout was very helpful. Thank you. Linda and Sharon.

The staff (Alberto I think) was very welcoming and thanks to the online check in, I just had to collect the room key. The room was of good size, pretty (but not perfectly) clean, the bathroom was modern with a large double walk-in shower and even larger shower head. The air-conditioning worked well.

There was no view as the room was located on the first floor at the rear of the building and only pipes and roofs were visible from the window. Therefore, no fresh air came into the room and I slept with the Aircon on.

Comfortable room, bathroom/shower clam , modern and worked well the staff are very friendly and helpful. Central location , but no trouble from any noise. Comfortable bed.

We had a problem with the air conditioning unit. It had been recently installed , so a fairly new machine. There was a fault on the exterior on the first day which was quickly fixed. On the last day it stopped working altogether. Not a serious problem, as it wasn’t too hot. Staff were very helpful and tried to fix it.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, clean and had plenty of room with chairs to sit in. The bed was very large and very comfortable. There is aircon allowing the perfect temperature to sleep at night. We had a balcony to see and hear city life, but when the sliding door was closed, it was quiet and we couldn't hear the noise outside.The shower was newly remodeled and had 2 shower head options with plenty of hot water. The check-in process was easy and it was a good location by Plaza Merced and near the Alcazaba. I would definitely stay here again when the street and smell is fixed.

Unfortunately, the street in front of the hotel was ripped up and closed for repairs, so it was not pretty to look at. We were very happy to have a balcony, but unfortunately the ripped up street was our view. I'm not sure if this was related to the street work, as pipes and possible sewage pipes were exposed, but there was a terrible sewage smell inside the building. Thankfully, there was no smell in our room so that was great, but everytime we stepped out of our room or into the building, it was a punch in the face. Hopefully, with the street repaired and sewage smell gone, the experience can be greatly improved on a return visit. Lastly, the internet connection in our room was poor.

Customer service before and during the visit was superb. Nahir and Victor were friendly and available 24/7 to help. We misplaced our key and they took seconds to sort out the problem even though they weren't on site. The facilities are modern, clean and very comfortable. Recommended!

One of the rooms in the hotel was being refurbished so there was some noise and building materials left in the corridor one day, but disruption was minimal. Our room was in the attic, accesible by steps from the top floor, which wasn't a problem for us but would have been for someone with reduced mobility. There's a lift to the 3rd floor, attic is on the 4th.
