Pretty much everything

It was kind of complicated to get undressed/dressed before and after the shower since I was in a mixed dorm with private bathroom. There were two showers and two toilets in one big bathroom but obviously you couldn't block them all just to take a shower so you had to get inside with your clothes on, take them off, shower and get dressed inside the shower which was pretty small and only had one very tiny towel hanger (which can't possibly fit dirty clothes + towel+ clean clothes).

The hostel is amazing. Everything smells super good and clean. Beds are big and comfy. The toilet is super clean and well organised for 3 people to use it simultaneously, which is good . The rooms have windows and are quite spacious. The staff at the reception is amazing, very helpful and great to have a conversation with. In total it was a lovely stay.

I would appreciate it if inside the shower area there would be a place to hang the towel or clothes. Also, the fact that you have to bring your own padlock or buy it from the reception is not very convenient.

Friendly and helpful staffs, Not-bad breakfast, central location, luxurious lobby and modern designs

The design of the stairs of the bunk beds are unhuman and unfriendly for the upper-bed customer. Two pairs of bunk beds are put in right-angle way but the two upper-beds shared the same stairs bound on one side of the lower-bed. For the sleeper of the upper-bed, which no stairs were built, the climbing is unphysical or more like a jungle training to swing from the stairs to the bed. For the two sleepers of the stairs-built bund bed it's also disturbing because the neighbor upper-bed sleeper has to pass their beds when climbing down and up. The hygien of the public toilet in the ground-floor is terrible, use the private toilet in the room if possible.

The hostel has a great atmosphere. I liked the breakfast area and the communal area. They felt very upmarket. Staff were friendly and helpful.

If you are not keen on heights double check if uou can have a bottom bumk. The top bunks are very high and access is not great (no handle to the right). There is no barrier if you rolled off the bed accidentally. It's unlikely to happen but can be quite daunting for first timers.

I stayed in a private room with a queen bed. It had everything I needed! The hostel did a great job with organizing tours for me, including a free walking tour, a bar crawl, and a tapas tour. The front desk and bartenders were so nice and made me feel at home! The other guests were great as well, I was a solo traveler but made friends easily! Additionally, I was able to get work done from the common room and kitchen, the wifi was great and atmosphere was energetic yet quiet.

I booked this place based on recommandation of a person I met during one of my trips and it really exceeded my expectations. Although I booked the 8 beds dorm it really well designed that there is space and it not crowded. Each bed has it own light , and a pocket where you can put your stuff and also where to charge your phone. The dorm had two showers and two bathrooms ( huge respect for the hostel for doing that ) and it clean and really nice ones, you have pick lockers that you can put your stuff in ( bring a padlock or you can buy one from reception ) or you can ask reception to put your valuable in a safe. The lobby is crazy luxurious and the breakfast is another level. For 7 euro you have really really good coffee, freshly tasty orange juice and another juice I didn't recognize , different type of bread. Cerealea etc etc but it was really worth it

The TOC has very friendly and helpful staff who are available to assist you 24 hours a day. The Hostel is in a very good location making it easier for you to find your way around the local area and the rest of the city. The 24hr reception will give you a keycard to enter your room when you arrive and your locker number. You can either leave your locker without a padlock or use one of your own to lock it. If you don't have a padlock then don't worry they sell them for only a few euros. The Hostel offers additional services like breakfast in the dining area in the morning for an additional fee. Whilst I didn't take advantage of the continental Buffett-style breakfast I did see what was on offer and there was a large selection for the price, I can recommend the coffee if you are like me and you enjoy a good cup of coffee to start your day. The dorm I stayed in was extremely comfortable with air conditioning and its own on-suite shared bathroom which was all very clean and everything looked like it was new. The lockers were quite large with hangers for your clothes and plenty of room for a small backpack etc. The bed I slept in was extremely comfortable memory foam and I had my own private light, power socket, and a very handy USB charging point.

I don't think that I could really say anything negative about the Hostel at all really. I didn't see a communal area for everyone to meet up with each other and socialise but I may have not noticed it in the time I was there. Perhaps a small communal Kitchen with tea and coffee facilities etc would be nice.

TOC Hostel Malaga is beautifully appointed. A mature space that's sophisticated and a very pleasant place to stay. The communal areas downstairs were bright and modern with fun decor and furnishings - a place to both chill with a book but also to mingle with other guests before heading out into town. Having the option of breakfast on site was a big plus. I found it to be good value and they'd a nice selection. The staff are excellent at their jobs and ensure every guest has an enjoyable stay.

The dorm I shared became quite small especially when at full occupancy due to the nature of a lot of bags etc. It was a bit difficult to dry towels but we did manage.
