If you are travelling with children and they like slides, then this is the place for you. We really liked the pools and the slides. The childrens pool is really big and fun for the little ones. The entertainment during the day is really good. There is a mini club for little children and games for adults. Personally, I participated in a lot of the activities and I enjoyed them all. The entertainers are really nice people and made the games really good fun. Perhaps there needs to be something in between those two age groups. My son is 8 and he felt a bit grown up for the mini club but he was not allowed to participate on the adult games. There are shows every night. The mini disco is amazing for the kids, the animation team is full of energy and the shows are excellent. However, at times the shows were a bit too high tone for an 8 year old. Someone mentioned in the reviews that in the animation team all boys were gay. I have not evidence but yes it looked like that, so if you are not ready to explain to your kids certain topics then you might re consider attending the shows with the little ones. The paella in the lunch hour is amazing! I ate it every day with sangria! That was a bonus, to have beer, wine and sangria from the tap at lunch and dinner was really good!

I think the cleanliness of the rooms could be better. Our bathroom had a terrible wee smell in the evenings and even thought we asked for something to spray, we did not get it. We stayed for 6 nights and the last two nights our room was full of ants due to the small crumbs my son dropped with his crisps. We stayed in one of the nice rooms for disable people, which was great as it is big and has a terrace to the gardens. However, the shower is hand held and there is holder only half way up. Of course, understandable for easy reach for a disabled person. However, I could not have a proper shower any day and one day I injured my thumb trying to take the shower out from the holder.

We loved our stay in AluaSun. Food was marvelous, delicios, with vast variety of choice. Next best was the pool - our kids were swimming there every day of our stay. Each evening there were different shows in the hotel, but we did not see them all, as we were just tired from the day :) Great location to visit different touristic objects- we were to Gibraltar, Fuengirola zoo and many more. Highly recomending to families with children.

For us really the only thing that we missed was a family room, instead we were in two separate rooms, not close enough. Other than that- everything was perfect!

Contrary to other reviews I thought the food was pretty reasonable. Lots of fruit and plenty of choice. The pool kept my child entertained from start to finish. The cleaner saw my boys crab teddy and each day made him a different sea creature out of bedding and he was thrilled. Lovely detail.

It’s definitely more of a 2 star hotel than a 4 star. It’s pretty basic, the aircon doesn’t work fantastically.

The pools are great! The staff is really friendly and always helpful! The location is great because you have a small shopping area on a walking distance with a lot of restaurants and supermarkets that are open until 2AM. The room was super cleaned and the food for breakfast and lunch was really tasty and a lot of options. There's beaches close by and the city center is not that far. It's the perfect place for a family vacation.

The wi-fi kept failing and wasn't usable at all on our room. On the restaurant it worked as expected but then on the pool and on the room connected successfully but then it didn't load anything, web or apps.

Hotel is very nice and modern. Rooms are large enough and provided with balconies surrounded by pines and other trees. The entire resort is like an oasis. There are 3 different swimming pools, large enough to accommodate many guests. Breakfast was great. Staff is also welcoming and very friendly. Each evening they organize shows and parties.

Location is not the best, being close to the highway and at about 20 minutes walk from the seaside. It is not located within Marbella city, but rather to the outskirts. There are some stores around if needed.

Nice pool area, enthusiastic and hardworking animación team, rooms and toilets at the pool were always immaculately cleaned. Well organised dining room. friendly reception staff.

Childrens play park and kids club facilities were closed for refurbishment which wouldn’t of stopped us coming but if noted on the booking page we could of managed our daughters expectations. Sports area - football pitch and ping pong tables basically in disrepair. The woman and the older of the male bar staff on the pool bar were not friendly at all

The room was adecuate but the facilities and food were great. The food was lovely. The staff were amazing, super friendly, helpful and cordial. The animation for the kids was also fantastic, really made the few days we were away fantastic!

There could be a kettle in the room which would have made it better, also the times for the restaurant could have been offered rather than given, we were allocated the first round without any consultation, I also found the directions given were not very adecuate to find the room.

Staff were all helpful as usual. Food has greatly improved. Room was comfortable.

Only 2 English TV programmes. More English entertainment programmes needed. Rooms to be cleaned better each day. Internet only worked properly on mobile and not on tablet. Food information to be put on dishes especially for those on specific diets. Each day some were missing. More British package tour companies to be approached such as TUI and Jet2.

Breakfast buffet was good, as we were visiting family didn't eat any other meals there. Our room was good and thankfully air consitioning worked well. Previously stayed there in April and enjoyed our visit then. We will stay there again.

Nothing that I could specifically say we didn't like. A minor gripe would be that the hot food on the buffet was luke warm, but that is the way with buffets.

Having stayed at the hotel many times the staff were very welcoming and always found time to chat to me. The facilities were excellent. The room was large. Food improved from last year.

The desserts for lunch and dinner every day were the same and full of sugar. More variety needed. Not enough English people in the hotel. The company should approach British package holiday companies such as TUI, On the Beach and Jet2 etc.
