There is much noise caused by renovations on the property next to and underneath the hotel. There is much noise from drilling, banging and hammering from 9am up until as late as 9pm and we were immediately above this, I complained 3 times but was met with it’s the council we can’t do anything. We should have been informed prior to arriving and may be could have changed our plans. Eventually I asked for a move to a room higher up and further from the work, we moved on day 5 of a 10 day stay.

Very central to all restaurants cafe's, bar's. 1 minute walk to the church where we had a wedding to attend, and the balcon de Eurpoe. Breakfast at hotel was basic but perfect, rooms cleaned everyday. Bar downstairs top class service and v reasonable priced drinks with outside seating . Would recommended this hotel for a basic stay, nothing fancy but perfect for a long weekend.

The hotel was so very handy for everything- the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Walks. Bus stops. The museum was very interesting - especially the top floor (I think?) which highlighted the films/TV shows in which Nerja had appeared. Particularly at the end of an evening, the very short walk back to the hotel was much appreciated. I wish I'd mentioned to reception earlier that the air conditioning didn't work. I only remembered to raise it when we were checking out. It was expkained to me that the sliding door probably had not clicked closed properly- doh! Wish I'd tried the breakfasts - both the €4.99 and the €9.99 ones. I love the sea but the pool area was also great and made a nice change - especially if sunbeds on the lower deck were free. All the staff we had dealings with - the receptionists, the cleaners the bar staff - all were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again.

Early in the morning and early evening it was great to have a top floor room overlooking the plaza UNTIL one minute past midnight on 8 October (the start of a 4 day festival) when the fair's music started. It throbbed right through our room til 5.00 am. Didn't sleep a wink. Maybe shutting the door properly would have helped a bit. Maybe a room at the back of tge hotel would have been better. But actually I doubt the whole of Nerja got much sleep that night - why such unsociable noise is allowed I cannot imagine. Something for the town hall to look into perhaps. I will certainly avoid said festival period in the future.

Great location. Their cafe which is attached does good food, you can choose to include breakfast with stay. Room and balcony were clean and cleaners were in everyday. Fridge, additional bedding and safe available in room. I have often stayed at the considerably larger hotel on the balcon, and really, room for room (considering the price difference) I’m not sure that they’re a world apart.

Unfortunately, although it’s a great look, the lack of any carpeting means any noise is really amplified. Unlocking/locking the door, wheelie luggage, talking generally all sounds a lot louder in the room than it might. You can also hear at least one other rooms toilet flush. The armchair in the room was possibly a fold out bed but was certainly not comfortable to sit in. Also, the bathroom sink plug didn’t stop the water from draining. No, none of this was reported as, well, none of it really mattered too much. The noise was infrequent, I didn’t sit in the armchair and didn’t need a full sink of water. It’s a great place at a great price and all the staff I met were all very nice.

The hotel is in a convenient location in Nerja, all local amenities are a quick walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful. No problems with language. The attached cafe has good food and drink options. The rooms were cleaned daily and had good facilities with everything working. Good WiFi coverage throughout the hotel. Rooftop pool was small but there was enough room for everyone. I thought the accommodation was good value for the price and would certainly stay again if or when we come back to Nerja.

I honestly can't think of anything negative. The hotel is well managed with good attentive staff. Keep it up!

The location of the hotel is great, the bar/restaurant is very good and the staff there are really friendly and welcoming. The roof terrace and pool is lovely and relaxing and having a private car parking facility accessible via lift directly to the hotel is a bonus.

Our room 201 was directly next to the housekeepers cupboard/room. So from 07.20 each morning we heard her open the door, close the door, load her trolley then wheel her trolley along the tiled corridors (extremely noisy unfortunately!) The plumbing system isn't the best as we could hear next doors' shower turn on and the pipes knocking. Our shower was an over bath shower with a curtain, wholly inadequate as the floor was literally swimming in water after each shower. The pillows need changing as they are flat as pancakes and terribly uncomfortable. Such a shame, but the early morning starts to what should have been a relaxing holiday spoiled it for us, along with very little sleep due to pillow issues.

Fantastic facilities - the room was lovely and cleaned daily and the pool & rooftop area was great. The location is excellent and 2 min walk from the Balcon de Europa making it very central. We got the bus from Malaga and it was only 15 min walk to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage for an extra hour after check out.

There is no soundproofing between the rooms and the hall so doors closing/people talking can be heard. This can be disruptive at night/early morning if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the plaza. Good size room with a very comfortable bed, although the pillow could have been a little firmer. The location is amazing - a two minute walk to el Balcon de Europa and everything else in easy walking distance. The staff were all very pleasant and there is private parking which was also great. Would highly recommend restaurant Bakus which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay again!!

The buffet breakfast was closed as it's winter, which I totally understand. However, I would have liked a little more choice for breakfast - perhaps an orange juice included and a couple of different choices of rolls. Nevertheless, breakfast was adequate.

Great value for money in a wonderful location. Rooms are well appointed for the money and the beds very comfortable. Excellent air con system. Roof top terrace and pool perfect for relaxing. Nice bar downstairs. Excellent airport transfer service at a good price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room had a balcony with a little clothes rack which we used for drying swimsuits and towels after the beach.

Soundproofing could be a little better, we could hear the lift from our room. Didn't impact on our enjoyment of staying in the hotel though.

The Location is excellent. The breakfasts were varied and good. The staff were lovely.

The beds are very hard, which are ok if you like a very firm mattress. The wash basin and bidet stoppers didn’t have rubber seals so couldn’t push them down to hold water. I found the shower head difficult to adjust, it seemed to spray everywhere, I flooded the floor many times. Unfortunately building work started on the adjoining property, this was nothing to do with the hotel, but the noise started at 8am and was disturbing.
