Friendly staff. Underground parking. Large room, air conditioning. Quiet location next to restaurants.

Bathroom a bit tired. Large corner bath but didn’t feel safe when using it with shower. No grab handles. Shower screen not effective. Had to jam it in place with the corner of a towel and it didn’t stop the water getting on the bathroom floor. No food or drink availability on Sunday.

I like the fact that pets were not allowed at this hotel. I have had some bad experiences in the past with pets in hotels and I feel that it is important that non pet owners have a choice of where they want to stay too. The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly and the town centre was in good walking distance from the hotel.

The bathroom could have done with a “deep clean”

We stopped off for one night on our way to Santander. Nice spacious rioom, basic but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice.There is also underground parking with a lift which meant no carrying luggage up stairs. Staff were very helpful and polite. There are also bars and restaurants within walking distance, one restaurant made us very welcome. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Review from Howard. The room was booked by my wife Catherine. I stayed in Palencia as I was catching the ferry from Santander the following day. It was ideally positioned for this purpose. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and good value for money. I didn’t have any meals here since I found myself in a nearby village in the evening and ate there instead. The hotel offers secure parking at 8.5 euros per day. However, there was plenty of parking on the streets outside the hotel and I took advantage of this with no issues. I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Modern, well equipped hotel with high quality marble floors in the reception area and wooden parquet-like floors in the bedroom. Austere but stylish interiors. Good quality self-service continental breakfast with wide selection, though no cooked food apart from cold meats. Ad lib coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking in underground garage for extra charge (although my booking included that cost).

I can't think of any aspect that could have been improved.

Hotel easy to find, room was comfy, staff friendly, parking below was fiddly but got there in the end. No restaurant but several bar/restaurants at the end of the road. We particularly like Carelia, very friendly, food good and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the hotel was fine. Only about 10-15minutes walk from the town centre

The reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Our room and en suite bathroom were very spacious. Location was good for us. Very happy.

good but simple hotel close to most facilities in Palencia if you are able to walk. Restaurants in close reach but the town is slightly further away. Good rooms with all uo need. Good garaging although needed help (given) to find our slot.
