Location is excellent and the view over the ocean from the little balcony is superb. The beach bar downstairs is great.

The breakfast was very basic and there is only 1 standard option, no variety or choice. The hotel is in a restricted zone so it is not possible to drive up to the hotel to drop off luggage, we had to find the nearest car park and carry all our luggage for a couple of blocks. I might have missed it in the description of the hotel but I can't recall this being mentioned.

it was definitely the best place in all of Peñiscola  and the location right on the water was unforgettable. Ella was our hostess when we checked in and she was so lovely and beautiful and she worked so hard to take care of us.

I love how unique it was and that it was right on the water and you could literally walk out of the restaurant down the steps into the water also at the foot of an amazing castle. Where else in the world can you do that?

Hotel Muva Beach is THE BEST! The location was amazing, on the beach and right on the city walls. You can literally walk to everything you would want to visit. And despite what other reviews have said, you can park pretty close for a reasonable price. We parked by the marina (.2 away for about 8 euros a day). If arriving on a weekend, I recommend parking before 6 though. It looks like it gets pretty crowded. The beach is amazing. The water is calm, and there are beach rentals like chairs with umbrellas (we paid £9 each for the day), paddle boards, and slides on paddle boats (!?!) for really reasonable prices within a very short walk. The room was larger and more well-appointed than expected, and you can’t beat free breakfast overlooking the water. You should book here if staying in Peñíscola.

Beach Bar (right below the hotel and same owner) play very loud music till 2 am. The bass frequencies resonated throughout the building.After complaining the next night, the music was less loud...that type of music is not what you expect at a chill beach bar. Management should also invest in a better coffee machine. Breakfast without great coffee is not a great way to start the day...

The hotel room looked just like the pictures. The view was amazing—excellent facilities, within walking distance of the castle, the beach, and many restaurants.

The smell in the bathroom overtakes the nice decoration. It is due to the proximity to the sea, and the structure of the pipes. The room is nice but the smell can be overwhelming. There's not an elevator and the staircase is narrow so don't take heavy bags.

Location was great and rooms were a good size with all the necessary bathroom amenities you need. Very friendly staff. The restaurant is absolutely fantastic and offers some interesting choices of food including sushi. The restaurant has a beautiful setting right on the water with views over the whole of Peñíscola and of the castle walls. Overall a truly amazing stay.

No parking facilities. Has a parking option which you pay for close by.

The location and service was excellent. We had a corner room overlooking the Mediterranean and castle.

We could hear loud music from the beach club from our room.

Wonderful situation right on the beach. Our room had views over the beach. We were also offered a free Glass of cava on arrival which was a nice touch on a very hot day. We ate dinner at the hotel and that also was exceptional..

Parking is expensive but that’s throughout Spain now. The parking building was quite close to the hotel which helped.

Right at the foot of the castle and literally beach front as if you have a private beach right down the balcony. Lots of restaurants and shops and water sports to rent.

Facility is a bit basic, bathroom looks dated. When the restaurant kitchen opens downstairs, you will smell the greasy smell in the whole room. Of course loud music until midnight after the bar is closed. But since this hotel is part of the restaurant and bar, you do expect the noises and smell to some extent. But then not good value for money especially when you paid the holiday premium room rate.
