the best hotel in area, also the best staff ever! so friendly and helpful people. Food was delicious, so close to the beach. , staff on the reception- never in the past I met so professional and helpful people. love this hotel, swimming area very nice

Everything was great...hotel location within easy walking distance to the old town and the beach less than 10 minutes, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. parking directly outside the hotel however you have to pay at the meter, we were informed by hotel reception that parking 2 streets back of the hotel parking was free so saved €8.00 day hotel parking. exception June to September when all streets are meter payments.

Location excellent, we had handicap parking so was not an issue and cost nothing. Every Staff member was wonderful, rooftop pool was a welcome retreat, we wanted a king size bed so ended up with 2 bedroom suite for just the 2 of us. Very close to Old City. Wonderful view from our room if the Old City. Beat nights sleep since we arrived in Spain a week ago.

The location is absolutely brilliant and allows easy access to the town. Our room was superb, the staff were attentive and the receptionist was terrific. No real issues….except…as an Irish and English couple we like tea or coffee in the room and this is not provided, A small point but it would have added to our enjoyment. We would have scored it 10+ otherwise. (I feel mean as the hotel and staff are quite wonderful) The room was spacious, the bathroom accommodated two individuals with separate sinks and we had two showers. It really did go beyond our expectations. We also had a rather large balcony which caught the evening sun together with a beautiful view of the castle, a real treat. The breakfast is really quite good, something for everyone and the cost represented very good value for money. We have stayed in other hotels in Peniscola but this was by far the best, Much to recommend it. The hotel bar is a bit limited but we were out most evenings and when we used it the staff were really good. Overall, a very good experience and we would recommend it. With tea and coffee it would certainly be scoring 10.

Tea and coffee in the room or a kettle so we could have bought our own tea bags!

The staff are very welcoming and efficient. I’ve never seen the staff in a restaurant work so hard as those here. Felicitations. The Spa is very good with all the facilities plus a great rooftop pool. We particularly liked the good deal offered for eating there. We’ll certainly come back.

The soundproofing could be better and the double bed was two singles together which personally we liked less.

Everything. Very nice pool at the roof top, great relaxed breakfast, easy to book a massage on the same day. Close to the sea and the city center, easy to park near the hotel. Incredible room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!

It would be great if the rooftop pool is open a little longer - like till the sunset (9pm). Also a few degrees warmer water would keep us longer in the water :)

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great for enjoying the old town (a short and scenic walk along the promenade) and the two large beaches nearby. Large breakfast.

Although it was nice and big, our room was a bit old and tired. We booked the cheapest room type on booking.com and found ourselves on the first floor directly above the kitchen. Because of this, we heard voices and pots and pans clanging from below. This was not great for us as we were hoping to get to bed early as we had to check out very early the next day. Fortunately, we were only staying one night. We would stay again but would probably pay a bit more for a better room.

Great location, very helpful staff, tasty breakfast, nice large room, a bit of a view of the sea from lovely terrace and a very clean bathroom. Room came fully equipped and had a nice coffee machine, too.

Everything was great! It was just too bad that we did not get to use the pool as it was closed for the season. Also after dinner outside we wanted to get something sweet for our room from the dinner buffet at the hotel and pay for it but the front desk staff told us it was not possible and that we had to pay full dinner price. I would recommend to make it available in the future.

Fantastic hotel. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dinner at the hotel was fabulous and the breakfast was excellent. Location is very good and parking is available.

The room we had was very good, a large room with two double beds on the top floor and a great view. The staff were very helpful with a few issues, everything was sorted out in good time. Walking distance to the main town and the old town..Good secure parking which was just what we needed.

You have a problem with the food. The hot food was never very hot. There was very little choice of food, this was the main problem we found with our stay.
