Beautiful view on the ocean front and the city of Peñiscola. Very friendly and service oriented staff, delicious breakfast and dinner buffet. Nice, comfortable and clean room with airco, well working fridge and comfortable beds. Good parking and great that they have a 10 minute parking in front for check in. Elevator goes all the way down to the inside parking with a ramp to outside parking. Recommend to leave the car in the hotel parking and walk to the city on the beach promenade.

Elevators seams a bit dated and small. Missing screen on the balcony door to keep the bugs out. And dimming the ceiling lights would have made the restaurant feel a lot more cozy and elegant.

We had a sea view room which was very clean and spacious with lovely large bathroom. TV has some English channels. The room was cleaned every day even when not requested and kept to high standard. The food in the restaurant was very good and good value if you have half board. House wine very good for 10euros. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and Fran and Neus ( hope I’ve got their names correct ) seemed to be working every day but always a smile and greetin. Same from the other restaurant staff. Staff on reception also very friendly and helpful.

The bar was normally very quiet in the evening and we only went in a couple of times. Most of the staff in the bar were very friendly apart from a couple who did not seem very happy and it was difficult to get a smile from them.

We had a Twin room with sea view, which faced us to the pool area with nice view to the sea. The room was good size for two, clean and new, we had everything we needed. The breakfast had wide variety and was delicious. Had various veggie milks and gluten free pastry on demand. Also fresh made eggs available. The sea is literally few steps from the hotel door, and this part of the beach is really clean and had less people than closer to city centre. Would definitely go back.

All was good, nothing we disliked. Didnt had time to enjoy of the spa sauna area, but I checked and its available for some extra cost.

The hotel is excellent, buffet breakfast with wide variety of pastries, hot counter , fruit, coffee, herbal teas, water and juices. Evening meal excellent value for money at 16 euros each , no more expensive than other restaurants and a different theme styled food each night with good choice. Lovely pool area, bar area competitive prices compared to other bars in the area. There is a games room (pool, table tennis, table football) . Enjoyed a game of pool before dinner. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bravo. Room is cleaned and fresh towels every day, so lovely. Beach is opposite the hotel so you can just meander over. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend, just fab..thank you

Nothing about the hotel, just a bit of a walk to the main action, BUT you can get a bus which runs every half hour on the quarter to and past approx.. if you can't make the walk of 15mins or so to the castle/old town area.

Primarily a package holiday hotel so it's rather impersonal and the breakfast buffet is shared with 100s of guests. The expected on-site secure parking wasn't available and we were expected to find on road parking nearby - this turned out not to be too bad when we stayed in late May but would be unacceptable for anyone travelling by car in high season.

Wonderful breakfast between 8.00 and 10.00. My son was in a Triathlon in Peniscola on Sunday and the staff provided a prepared breakfast which was generous of the hotel which he could have in our room at 5.30a.m. The dinners were great, self service buffet.

The car parking fee of €10 per day. The dinner was at 8.00p.m. which in my opinion could have been at 6.30p.m. as in other 4 star hotels.

the hotel has a great location at 1.5 km walking distance from the castle in the quiet area. Our room had an amazing view to the see and the castle, it was very clean, very confortable and big enough. The beach is right across the street, very clean, large and not crawdy at all. We used public transportation to get there and the bus station is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was ok, simple but with plenty of choices. The staff is nice, very polite, they all speak or understand very well English. We would definetly choose this hotel again.

This hotel was quiet in the rooms. The restaurant for breakfast, lunch were great. We didn’t enjoy the dinner as much. Plenty of different foods to choose from. Right on the beach. It’s a lovely 20 minute flat walk to the old town.

That there was no kettle to make tea available in our room and no chance of getting one. There are also no pool towels available.

Peniscola is just a beautiful place , and the Palace Hotel is really good, rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Pool is nice and the beach is a few metres away .

Parking is at a premium in July , we had to park in a carpark further away but the staff were very helpful in explaining the situation. But really that's the only downside of a wonderful hotel , we will be back.

Breakfast was excellent. Although we didn’t use the pool this facility is very good. Beach access is immediately opposite the hotel. Parking is readily available at 10 or 15 euros a day (inside or outside).

It was a long walk from elevator to the room.
