Hotel was clean and bright. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool, so no need to get up super early. Our room was big, comfy beds and pillows. Location was great as you could choose what type of night you wanted - a quiet one in the hotel or a boozy one on the strip!

Food wasn't the best - not much choice and quality wasn't great. Also all inclusive drinks were local substitutes, not branded

Absolutely fantastic hotel from start to finish we stayed for 12 days in room 512 on the 5th floor really beautiful room with a great view of the pool and the Sea. Pool area really spacious lovely relaxation area and too great pools one very deep and other one suitable for all ages,kids pool on top deck great pool bar where you can get burgers hot dogs pizza chips and lovely cocktails 😊 we were all inclusive and the food in Restaurant was really good quality and great variety everyday always something to eat and I'm a picky eater. Staff in all areas were Exceptional they really are very good and work extremely hard .It's the most cleanest place I've every stayed in.The Entertainment was actually brilliant especially the Beatles tribute band and the party night on Friday was also great fun the DJ got everyone up dancing playing music for all ages too. lastly the SPA was also brilliant you have free access with the room we had we were at it a few days of our stay and I have to say was something to give you a boost of energy always came out a new women it was really relaxing and revitalising overall we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back again thanks so much GALA 💖

No English speaking stations on TV in room apart from Euronews it's my only complaint I have if they could put a few more would be great not that we spent to much time in room watching TV but nice to have the option

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, I had a great experience. The food was delicious and the rooms were perfect. he hotel's personal was amazing. The animators, in particular, were special and made my stay truly enjoyable. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and they made sure that all guests had a great time.

However, there were a lot of extra charges for things that I expected to be included in the price of my stay. This was a bit frustrating, as I felt like I was constantly having to pay extra for things that should have been included. My biggest complaint, however, was that if you had breakfast and dinner, they did not provide anything to drink during dinner. This meant that you had to pay extra for water, which I found surprising and disappointing.

Excellent location and close to beach

The chefs were using the same tongs for raw meat as they used when serving cooked meat. I think a bit of training is required in that department.

The location is probably the best in the whole island. Few meters to supermarket, pharmacy, main tourist street and 10s of bars and restaurants. Night life is amazing. During the day there are pools inside and also lots of outside activities. The hotel has night program and the food is amazing.

The dessert section at the restaurant is weak. The cheese selection in the breakfast is also weak. The all you can drink system is very strange and such a hustle. You should always order for even water and then they should make a bill of zero. We have been in other all you can eat and drink hotels and it was not such a big deal. Why they don't give a wrist band to recognize guests with different deals and just make it flow! Water should be just all around and not such a big deal! Also the shampoos and soaps in the rooms should be upgraded. Don't get me wrong, we loved our stay and we still recommend it to everybody.

The hotel definitely deserves 4 stars, everywhere was clean, whether in the rooms or everywhere in the hotel. The surroundings was beautiful full of greenery and cactus and palm trees, the lobby of the hotel was gorgeous. Access to the beach was also perfect, the hotel has its own shortcut to the beach which takes about 7 minutes. Every evening there was a program at the hotel (live band, singer, DJ). There were also many programmes during the day at the pools, both for children and adults. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one for children and the other "swimming" with a depth of 180cm. Next to the pool there are many sunbeds, we never had a problem that we did not have a place even people were taking sunbeds in the morning at 7:30. There were also 2 bars with drinks by the pools. Staff was very nice and helpful. The dinners were really good, every day we had something different. They even have an open kitchen in the restaurant and prepare food for you on the spot (pasta, fresh fish, beef, lamb, various Chinese specialties). Breakfast was always the same but that's probably understandable.

The only minus that I perceive on this hotel is the lack of staff in the restaurant. As it is a rather large hotel with many guests, many times it happened that they did not keep refilling the food, and there was a terrible mess around the buffet tables. At dinner you have to order drinks from the staff and many times it happened to us that the staff came to order after 20 minutes, we had already eaten almost everything.. even after reminding the staff that we wanted to order. There were few vegetables at breakfast. You only had a choice of lettuce, tomato and fresh onion.. The hotel is situated close to the nightclubs where loud music plays until 4-5 am. It's quite audible when the balcony is open, we personally didn't mind. when you close the balcony you can hardly hear it.

Really lovely hotel spotlessly clean,comfortable beds,food very good great choice at breakfast and dinner fab shower in bathroom and there is a fridge hotel is in excellent location .

For a 4 star hotel should have kettle with coffee,tea,milk sugar tray in room they do have a krups nespresso machine but pods are not provided so bring your own + milk & sugar .

I paid for 2 separate rooms as my brother likes his own space, i have been many times to Gala and Troya as i strongly recommend them, only fault was we were given rooms round the back where you had no view of the pool, beach or any sunset. Also because we were round the back you heard the cleaners, bar staff bottling up and lorries/deliveries early in the morning which disturbed our sleep. This was my brothers first time, I've been at least 4 or 5 times to Gala so always had a lovely experience, i was kinds gutted for him that his 1st time coming was my worst located room location. I have already booked 2 more rooms for us to return next May, i'm hoping we are located in a better area next time :)

The dining options were perfect - fine variety of options for both breakfast and evening dinner. Room was very comfortable with a fabulous non-invasive air conditioning provided added comfort. Purchasing goods at the bar was cashless and was a great feature. We also loved the setup at the pool. Plenty of capacity and space for all. Finally the location was ideal - very close to the beach and a short walk to local buses and shopping. That's it - end of review.

Very little - the only thing was the lifts - it took a little time to get the hang of how they operated. No other complaints.

The location was perfect and everything you need on within walking distance. The hotel has some great facilities - outdoor pools with plenty of seating, several bars, a nice spa and gym. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good working air con. Rooms we cleaned and replenished daily to a very high standard busy very smiley and happy cleaners.

Some of the restaurant staff are very rude. WiFi isn't great in some areas.
