the different kind of food every night. I was really surprised although I have very sensitive stomach whatever I ate, it didn’t hurt and I didn’t had my intolerance episodes. Also the pool was nice, the water was warm enough.

I didn’t like how the staff couldn’t understand a simple “warm water” order and they always gave me cold one. I was speaking English not my mother language and even tho…. some waiters told me even they don’t know where the warm water is. But when the Germans came the waiters even began speaking German and they were making their plates and serving them personally. The waiters were just really trying to be polite to us and they were but this discrimination is memorable

The hotel communicated with me within 24 hours of booking, kept in touch and responded promptly to requests. I was able to arrange an airport transfer and as the hotel recognised that we were arriving on a late flight after the restaurant had closed, they also had arranged for food to be available in the room. By far the best level of service I have received in a hotel anywhere. We are regular travellers to Gran Canaria and other 5 star hotels on the island would do well to see how customer service works here. All areas were well managed and staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to assist. Food at this hotel is to be commended for both quality and availability and in particular the freshness and variety of bakery products.

I had nothing to complain about.

Staff at Sandy Beach are fantastic, always helpful and friendly. Food is super delicious (we had half board), I was impressed by the quality of everything they offered for breakfast and dinner. One tip: do not come to this hotel if you're on a diet! The food is irresistable.

For dinner there is a rule of wearing trousers or bermudas that cover the knees. I came with a bermuda covering my knees on the first night, ask two different staff members if it was long enough and both said it was okay. I wore the same outfit on the second night and was told to go back upstairs and change to trousers in a rather impolite and patronizing way by a hostess which make me very uncomfortable. We stayed 4 more night and every night we saw people with shorts above their knees dining without any complains. Couldn't figure out whether I was target or unlucky, but I didn't find that to be OK. Even with that particular encounter with the hostess being a bad experience, the vibe of all the other staff members quite made up for it.

Staff were fantastic. Great food good selection and different theme nights. For vegetarians also great variety of fruit and veg. New entertainment guy phil, doing a great job, enjoy your season.

It was a bit like going back in time, old fashioned shows and music, but it works and the hotel has lots of repeat guests. We wanted to use the sauna facilities but was upset to discover that no one wears anything, not a great sight as most guests were over the age of 60. Maybe having 1 or 2 hours of the day for guests who do not want the all over tan is a suggestion.

Very friendly and helpful staff who treated our young son very kindly. Pool is good, lots of beds, good options for kids. Two good gyms, good games facilities too. Quick walk to the beach and lots of useful shops nearby to stock up on supplies (water, snacks etc). Hotel buffet is good and the outside restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.

The food is very nice and the lunch menu is really good value for money (you can’t complain about €5 for a big pizza) but the one minor complaint is that there should be more vegetarian options at dinner in the evening. It’s quite red meat and pork heavy.

The staff are all super friendly and helpful with everything. The food is all very well prepared and very tasty. The rooms on floor 11 were of a good size with separate bathroom and separate storage and were cleaned to a high standard daily. The extra entertainment put on by the hotel was excellent and a special mention for both Angelika and Monika who were brilliant. All the facilities are great and the pool is excellent. The hotel is situated only a few minutes walk from the beach. We recommend to all family and friends.

The only thing not to like is that the sun loungers all had towels placed on them really early..

We had a very enjoyable stay at Seaside Sandy Beach. From arrival the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The hotel itself is less than 5 minutes from the beach and strip. There is a supermarket opposite in case you need to pick anything up and also a car rental/bike rental. We could not fault the hotel, the food was amazing (We upgraded to all inclusive- would highly recommend!), they do cuisine nights meaning you get something new every night. The pool was cleaned daily and was a good size, they also had plentiful sun loungers, as they have them around the pool and also on a sun deck just beside the pool which helps. Shout out especially to Castro who made sure the drinks were flowing in the evenings! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, lone travellers etc..

One fault with the hotel for us was the cocktails! The cocktails were all premixed and were not good. If they invested in cocktail making it would make a massive difference! Also, there was one life guard who took up the sun lounger cushions very early (around 4.30PM) when he was on shift and you had to then sit on uncomfortable sun lounger. Other guys left them out til at least 6.30PM which is what you would expect in the sun!

This is a gem. Good food and well presented. Professional and friendly staff, Paco, Santiago, Horacio, Nere and Fatima, only to mention a few. Thank you again!

The place is really, really good, can only recommend. The staff is super serviceminded and nice, without being "sticky" or cloying. Food is really good, the breakfast buffet was beyond fantastic. Rooms are big and airy, loved the shower, big balcony and good bed. I had a room out towards the back, which suited me well, I wanted quiet and slow. The pool area is very well kept, nice and super clean, there's entertainment/music in the evenings, a well stocked pool side bar and comfy chairs and lounges. This is not a party place, this is relaxation only, and they do this exceedingly well. Most of the people I spoke to during my two day stay were returning guests, who have been coming there for years. There was a fairly large contingency of elderly people, but there were people of all ages except toddlers (I think I saw one baby during my stay), which I personally find really nice. Location is great, it's a 10 minute walk to the beach, please note: steps. Loads of them everywhere around Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles.

The only thing I could potentially ask for was a more comfy couch in the room, but that is me being really nitpicky. :)

everything is great ! the breakfast is rich and delicious . the staff is the big asset for this hotel . all are friendly and helpful . a special thanks to Mr Santiago at the reception because he made my stay in the island very pleasant Spence he gave me all the great recommendations about where to eat and where to go . I strongly recommend this place .
