I was beat. The room is cosy, neat & clean. Have an armchair to sit on. Bathroom is clean with a handheld shower head. Lift is available. Opposite the hotel, there is a shop selling churros in the morning. Walking distance to Knights Templar Castle.

I was tired after a long walk from Foncebadon to Ponferrada, hence I like to have earlier dinner. Most of the restaurants open around 7.30 pm or 8 pm. I have to dine in a fast food chain cafeteria for a beef lasagna. The room's light is a bit dim. Didn't expect the hotel doesn't to provide miniature shower gel or shampoo. The hotel is situated off track from the Camino route.

Small room for price. Límited breakfast hours did not allow me to have breakfast with my early train departure.

Reception staff in the day didn’t engage at all. Appeared disinterested and we felt we had disturbed them in some way. Cafe area was full of dirty plates and cups so we didn’t use it. Room had bath and sink but no plugs or pop up plugs had been disabled.

This beautiful property is both elegant and historic while being warm and welcoming. It’s a short 10 min taxi ride from O Cebreiro where the owner prepared a delicious dinner and treated me like royalty. Rooms are spacious, elegant and very clean and comfortable.

Initially, I went to the other hotel n their group. However, the receptionist checked with the other one that I was booked in there and gave me excellent directions on a map to find the correct one. My room was very good, with twin beds, apart from all the normal things, there was a fridge and a bath as well as the shower, and bidet. Close to cafes for an evening meal.

Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room for a solo traveler. luxurious shower. Nice bed and linens.

Location is convenient to bars and restaurants but a little bit off the Camino de Santiago if you’re walking in. Not THAT far but their are certainly closer options.

Twin room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also nice & clean. We stayed 1 night and the breakfast was good .

The breakfast room is below ground level and felt closterphobic. There is no car park for this hotel.

Lights in room could be brighter.we were repeat guests as we stayed there in April last but this did not matter when we stayed again.

Central location not far from the railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean.

The lack of good restaurants nearby. There were places to eat nearby but only the one just around the corner served a truly varied menu. I stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the railway station but probably staying in the old town would have presented more options for better food.

Very good comfortable stay in Ponferrada just 5 or 10 minutes walk from the historic centre. Lots of nice places for food or drink in the vicinity.
