The bathroom was beautiful, big and renovated and had everything you need- towels, hairdryer, straightener, housecoats. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable and could be adjusted electronically- like lifting your head or feet. Very quiet area as well and close to big supermarket.
The outside looks very run down, and the carpets on 1st floor are old and smell terrible(I think it was the carpet- the hallway had a very stinky smell. And, the carpet inside bedroom was old and needs to be replaced.

Staff was lovely and the bedroom and location were just what we were looking for. In theory, perfect for pilgrims or tourists visiting Vigo except during the weekend. We made the mistake to book during the weekend, and it seems like people use the hotel during this time to party and other (ahem) activities. We called the reception and they were very responsive to check on the noise, although it took some time.
Thin walls. I would encourage the hotel to put on rules against loud noise after 10pm.

Very good location to visit Pontevedra. Just across the bridge. Very spacious parking in front of the hotel. Room was good size with comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Nice view of river.
Breakfast not included and costs 10EUR which I find very expensive. Parking costs 5EUR per day and should be really included in the price of the room. Price of the room quite high for the single use. Staff on the reception desk at check in was not very informative. You can hear everything through the walls so earplugs are compulsory if you want to get some sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very clean, excellent size room. It is not in the heart of the town, but a short and easy walk across the bridge. Shower was amazing, it was nice to have a blow dryer. Bed was very comfortable. And the sheets look like they had been ironed. Stack was friendly.. I felt very safe at the location..
Dining options were limited. I could not find a breakfast place when I left early in the morning. There is a lovely bar that has cocktails with locals a few doors down. If you were checking out later in the day there did seem to be a bakery that was not open.

Lovely spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed and spacious functional bathroom. Its an easy walk in to Pontevedra but a quieter area if that's what you want on the Camino or holiday and much better value for money. Somewhat impersonal being a hotel. Our room had a good view over the river (large window view). We had the breakfast one morning - plentiful cakes and pastries to add to bread, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit and cereal (corn flakes).
The only thing we didn't like was that the yoghurts served at breakfast were at room temperature (we arrived 7am - stood out all night?). Cold meats are also not kept in a cold area but I expect replenished frequently depending on demand.

Great hotel, in a lovely spot just over the river from the old town with only one a 15 walk into the centre. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Even though I had a room that was on the front over the road with the windows closed there was very little noise. Nice little fridge in room too.

Great comfy and clean hotel, some nice touches like bathrobes and slippers provided, even hair straighteners and a pedestal fan. Nice big (twin) room. All the staff we encountered were helpful. Had a lift which was great for us. We didn't have breakfast but it looked nice as we passed the cafeteria! Lovely view from our room over the river which was especially pretty in the evening. The location was fine, slightly out of town but only really 10-15 minutes walk. Really good place for the price we paid.
Would have been nice to have a kettle or coffee maker in the room, but we're learning that this is not a typical thing in Spain!

Room for the value was very cheap. Even the slippers were provided! Bed was really comfortable. Plenty of space to store your things.
I missed the kettle to boil the water for tea. It was not possible to lock the doors, as the entrance was using the card and from the inside there was no lock. I think the AC is not provided, only the fan.

The view from the room was great. The room is well equipped for anything you might need. It was clean and tidy. Receptionist was helpful. There is secured storage for a bike ( electric gate and two dogs!). Room was good value for money. Lots of art on the walls. Easy to get on the Camino from hotel. The bed is electrically adjustable and shower v powerful.
As you are across the bridge from the main town your eating out options are limited but there is a mall about 500m away that has food as well as local cafes .

This was the best hotel during my Camino trip. It was lovely to stay there. It was clean, comfortable and most important only 4 euro more expensive than albergues where you sleep with 50 -60 people. The hotel was beyond my expectation. Everything was perfect. There was everything you need including shaving cream, hairdryer and hair iron. I am amazed and I tottaly will recommend this hotel in my blog and to all of my friends who are going to Camino. All others places should learn from Hotel Don Pepe. Bravo ❤️
I like everything. Perfect hotel.
