We'd highly recommend this hotel. Our room was exceptionally clean which is always our top priority. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Our window overlooked other buildings where homeowners hung their laundry from window to window - very quaint.

There were two things that were problematic. The windows did not have screens (which I understand is common in this part of the world). Since the air conditioner didn't work well, we left the windows open at night and woke in the morning with mosquito bites! Almost of the staff were very helpful and pleasant, a few were rather rude to us as - similar to the things that others have mentioned in their comments. That was really a shame as we really liked this hotel and the staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The positives far outweighed these negatives, and we would stay here again without hesitation. But . . . we will bring mosquito repellent to wear at night!

Location, Staff , value for money

The buffet breakfast for 7€ was poor. The only benefit to us is that we didn’t have to queue at the first cafe on the Camino which saved us time. I didn’t like the threatening notice about not taking food out of the dining room. If I pay for food I expect to eat it when I like. I am a reasonable customer so would not take advantage and fill my rucksack but I guess some people do.

The hotel was perfectly acceptable for our needs. Clean and comfortable with very helpful and friendly staff. They have reasonably priced parking and the hotel is only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the historical centre. We didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment on that but only because we wanted to eat out.

No negatives

I wanted a reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay. This place was in the location I wanted and had some decent reviews already. the room was clean and comfortable, looking into a rear courtyard. I had a window I could open, which is a plus for me as I don’t like to use air conditioning. Reception staff professional and helpful

It wasn’t a luxury room but that wasn’t what I needed on that trip. I didn’t pay a luxury price either and this hotel suited my needs perfectly well.

Very neat and clean, loved it. Also the lady at the reception was very hospitable and kind. The terrace at the cafeteria was good as well. I enjoyed my time at this place for sure. Great stop during the Camino

I picked Hotel Room for it's proximity to the World Triathlon venue and am very happy to be able to walk to all the events!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise - I had no preconception about the hotel, I just needed to be in that location, and am very happy .

Great value hotel in good location for walk to old city or on Camino. Great breakfast selection and all you can eat - but not take away. Lobby is stylish but rooms more basic.

Rooms are a bit tired and showing sign of wear and tear. Views from rooms nothing special and no bar in hotel.

when you look on the pricetag you can not comply…. the receptionist is also in charge of the breakfast…. he is working like hell…. the breakfast room is way too small for the number of people having breakfast… it was noisy as the guests behaved inadequate… but this is nothing the hotel can be blamed for… you get what you pay for…

we got what we paid for …

The staff was great. They answered all my questions and gave me directions to the city center. This hotel is close to bars, restaurants and the grocery stores. It is located on the Camino route. Great shower!

Small rooms

This hotel was extremely well run. It is billed as a two star but deserves a much higher rating. Very modern, with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, powerful shower and the staff are very helpful
