Very clean and comfortable accommodation in an extremely convenient location just off the motorway. Breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold food on offer. A great stop off when traveling to and from the Santander ferry for us, with the opportunity to hop into Salamanca. There was a very loud Christmas party on the ground floor when we arrived but we could hear absolutely nothing on the third floor and had an undisturbed night.

For our purposes (passing through) there was nothing to dislike. I couldn’t comment on suitability for a longer stay.

Lovely authentic Spanish hotel. Everything is first quality with solid oak doors, etc. The location was perfect for me because I was visiting the town of Reinosa which is well worth a visit. Reinosa still has many very good independent shops all within easy walking distance from Hotel San Roque. The hotel breakfast makes a good start to the day ahead. An extra kindness worth mentioning, for which I am very grateful, was that a member of staff served a visiting friend and me coffee in the restaurant out of normal hours! When I offered to pay he declined and did not charge! My room was professionally cleaned each day during my stay. The parking around the hotel and nearby is free. My room was very easy to access on the first floor via a lovely wide carpeted staircase. There is also a lift for those who prefer to go up in the lift.

Breakfast was pretty standard, with some fresh fruit, yoghurt and fresh toast and prepackaged baked goods. The building itself was exceptionally interesting and full of character and history. No designated parking, but lots of parking pretty much outside the front door. Very good insulation for noise and light, if you are a light sleeper. Useful recommendation of a restaurant to eat at in the evening.

Fruit at breakfast could have been a bit fresher.

I had a large room with a separate attic up some stairs. Clean, comfortable, central position close to bars/shops/etc. Good wifi. Spanish breakfast included in price. If you arrive on the cercania train, as I did, the Rio Ebro stop is a lot closer than Reinosa itself.

As others have commented, the place is a bit dark, though this is not a major problem. The restaurant was closed, but I had a good meal in restaurant on the other side of town, which apparently is under the same management.

The location. It was a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the centre of Reinosa. We could park right outside for free. The rooms and bathrooms had all the amenities and were very clean and comfortable. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. We also had breakfast included

Quaint old building, modern facilities, reasonable prices. Historic town. Convenient to Autovia. Simple breakfast. Convenient for Santander. Good base to explore area.

Parking on street, restaurant had closed and customers directed to another restaurant 200 metres away. Town a little run down.

A traditional Spanish hotel offering good value accommodation. The staff, were pleasant and willing to assist with any queries. Our room, whilst clean, had almost a third unusable because of roof beams. An adequate but somewhat sparse breakfast.

Very old but very unique hotel. It has its charms that’s for sure. The breakfast is not very good but the coffee was delicious.

The room floor makes a lot of noise. The bathroom is tiny. There was no parking except for the street park.

Cheap hotel, in good order, clean, attentive staff, respectable breakfast. Close to town centre and evening restaurants. Others may pick faults but for the price, I was more than happy with Hotel San Roque
