Great location. Although I was lucky and didn’t have a suitcase, for others it could be difficult as it’s situated up a lot of stairs if you access without a car. The host was friendly and there was a breakfast offer for a reasonable cost.

The heating in my room wasn’t working and the radiator in the bathroom came on at various times and was incredibly noisy at all hours of the night with a sound like water going in and out of it. Unfortunately it wasn’t sufficient to heat the bedroom too. I found a heater in the hallway and used that. It was a cold day and night so I had it on until about 3am

This is an excellent little hotel. The staff are friendly and speak very good English and the location gives many rooms a fantastic view over the town and country beyond. It's well placed to reach the town's second smaller beach too, which visitors do not seem to much use, but can be good depending on wind direction.

There was nothing we did not like, but the price paid for the wonderful view is the short but steep walk from the centre of town. There is a gentler (car accessible) road approach which is somewhat longer, but the direct footpath is a stairway which probably equates to about 6-8 floors rise.

perhaps the best view of any hotel in town. a nice outside small terrace to drink wine or coffee. comfortable beds. nice staff though they are not onsite all the time. the manager let me keep some medicine frozen in her freezer. there was a stopper for the sink which made rinsing out travel clothes easy. on-site coffee and tea available for self service payed purchase with coffee cups and saucers left out in lobby for guests to use. parkjng in town is free and fairly plentiful close by the hotel. the hotel is on some very nice walking paths with great views. this place is a gem and will be my first choice on future visits

the room we had on second floor was cold in may and the boilers turn off in early evening automatically. they provided a space heater when we asked so they solved the problem. the shower stall is not only the typical ultra small type but this one has its shower head so close to the wall that you constantly bump the temperature control when you turn around. since the terrace is so nice to have Tapas and wine it would have been even nicer if there was a small lobby kitchen with knives plates and cutting board. don't trust apple or Google maps to get you there if you are driving!!!! park in town and walk the path before you try to drive it because it has some big surprises for cars.

It has a great view of the city and the room was fine. If you’re walking the Camino, don’t enter the city on the Camino; use Google Maps for a gradual ascent to avoid the 90 steps.

They allow dogs and the whole place smelled like urine when I got there. When I came out of my room in the morning the whole place smelled like smoke even though it isn’t allowed.

Once you get over the fact of the steps to the hotel then WOW! Stunning views from our hotel room over the beach, over the town and over to the mountains. That makes the trek up to the hotel worth it haha. Room was large and comfortable and owners/staff very helpful and pleasant. Ribadesella itself is a beautiful small town with a glorious beach and position looking back over to the mountains. Lots to do.

Absolutely nothing.

The nice hard working lady at reception was very friendly. Breakfast 9-11 coffee w/toast or cressant $3.50. Simple, basic hotel room. Clean and comfortable. On the hill overlooking the town, marina and waterfront. Lots of beautiful walking areas.

No wifi in the accommodation. Only in the reception area. No electric kettle or coffee machine for guest use.

The woman who received us was very friendly and helpful, and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but were provided with the hot water we asked for by.

The stairs down to Ribadesella were steep! We liked it, but this hotel should only be recommended to people who are in good shape. It was also quite complicated to find parking, because the parking lot downtown was always full.

Clean and comfortable.

The hotel is perched above town, which is beautiful and also a trek up a stone stairway. It isn’t overly taxing, but after a long day on the Camino, the extra steps up and back into town for a meal were tiring. Still, would recommend for a night’s stay.

comfortable and clean with a nice view of the river. Accessible by road or up the stairs from the harbor. A short walk to shops and restaurants.

the property is on a hillside and has several flights of steps leading up to it. if steps are difficult for you to use, there is a road but it is a much longer walk.

The hotel is located on a hill so it offers nice views and a short walk down the center from a shortcut (stairs); it is very close to the view points of Ribadesella, Sella river and restaurants. The size of the room and bathroom were good. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. We had a small window, which even it did not offer any view, it was nice to have it open and breathe the fresh air of the town (we did not pay for a sea view).
