The breakfast was very good, with local produce, good coffee and attentive service from Noria or Alexia. There is no parking at the hotel but we always managed to find a space outside. It is a short walk to the town where there are good restaurants. The room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. There was a kettle and supply of teas and coffees and a small fridge. The addition of a chair would have helped, but otherwise very good. The pool was clean and the outside area was well maintained. The hotel is not modern but in an old Spanish style... & quirky!

Quite honestly, nothing. It was excellent value for money and the staff work really hard to make the stay comfortable.

The room was spacious - you get a big-and-comfy bed, cloak room, etc. The breakfast was also nice, almost everyday you would have handmade bread and fresh fruit grown in the garden of hotel. Also the staff was very nice and helpful :) near the hotel you could easily get a nice view of the mountainous area.

You have to park between the trees at the side of the road, which could be difficult. But drivers in the area in general wait patiently while you are parking.

Alexia and Noria were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely traditional hotel ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The 2 dogs were gorgeous!

No dinner available which was unfortunate given the other reviews but the village was only a few minutes walk with good restaurants. A hotel bar would have been good but the fridge in the room was fine for cooling the beer!

Villa del monte is a quiet and peaceful hotel rural in the centre of Gran Canaria, perfectly positioned in one of the best village of the island, Santa Brigida. Sebastian and his team have been very helpful on my arrival and genuinely friendly during my stay, creating a special atmosphere that felt like home. The services, in particular breakfast and the dinner, are an highly recommended experience of great value, perfectly proposed and presented by the chef. Products used are all fresh and km zero, which is the main philosophy of the service. Rooms and the living room are cozy and will make you feel at home. Definetely recommended place if you want to escape the stress of life.

different kind of small hotel. The room is great, otherwise a quiet place, but a bit of traffic noise. Breakfast is Spanish-style, that is, reasonably meager (bread, cheese, cold meats, coffee, tea, some fruits ,you can get a fried egg on request)

You couldn't get beer from the hotel bar, only wine 2 large dogs loose in the garden / pool area, so maybe not the right place for people with allergies or fear of dogs..

Breakfasts were interesting as they included different fruits from the garden and an assortment of cheeses along with the usual choice of Egg dish. All with attentive service ! Choice of location for breakfast was good, and the common spaces were interesting as well as well presented. Extra comfy and large mattress compared with most was a high point!

We loved the property, especially the pool area and interior courtyard. Our room was very large and accommodating.

We loved the property but we were disappointed that dinner was not served on our one night stay there (Tuesday). We had chosen this property to experience their gourmet dinners, darn it. I don't remember seeing days of dinner service on booking.com but I may have missed it? Also - our stay included breakfast but because we had to leave before 8am we were not offered one. Chef kindly made us coffee press for 2 and it was excellent.

Especially the breakfast was outstanding. Almost everything was made fresh, as much as possible from the own garden. The owner is also a chef and that clearly shows. Also in general he was very friendly and helpful. The accomodation has a very nice inner garden as well, plus a pool (which we didn;t use, as it was raining...).

In the bathroom was a bit of the typical sewer smell you often come across in southern countries. In our room also the tv was missing, but we didn't want to use that anyway.

Extraordinary culinary discovery journey by Sebastian and Dwight, 2 chefs that decided to start their own business a few months ago. We stayed for a whole week, but one of the most memorable aspects was Dwight’s almost exclusive use of local ingredients. We were blown away by the depth of flavour in each bite and it was clear that his (almost scientific knowledge) played a key role in creating delicious and unique dishes. Each menu was a culinary adventure that showcased the best of Gran Canarian’s ingredients. Also worth mentioning, these 2 are incredibly nice and welcoming! Warmly recommended!

That was a pleasure for us stay in this charming hotel. We were warm welcome by owner, manager and executive kitchen chef what make us feel like special guests. The atmosphere is very homesy. Our room same as rest of the interiors are specious and rural. Staff kept eyes open on every detail of our stay and we received important tips about history of the hotel and interesting places to visit around but the best part of stay was food prepared by Dwight who prepared every single meal with passion and left his heart on our plate. Big bonus for bike rentals there is few full suspension bikes and road for free to use by guests and table tennis court. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends and everyone who expecting something more than typical lazy hotel by the beach
