Welcome relief after a few weeks in the Camino - was only a km from the cathedral and very close to the bus and train station when leaving. Laundromat around the corner and supermarket across the road. Thee room was very small but I didn’t need much space and was enough. The big winner was the bath - so hard to find accomodation with a bath in Spain - and nothing better for weary muscles … the staff were lovely and were there 24/7 - tolerated my poor Spanish before politely finding someone who spoke English or using excellent English themselves. Vending machine at reception for water coffee and food and nice open lounge area near reception. Bed was comfy

It was obviously dated and worn - but I was not expecting plush or new surrounds for the price - and there were a few steps to enter property and get to the lift which were manageable … and there were rails and there was a bit of noise early in evening but was ok after 10

Great location, very close to the train station and airport bus. Really good that they have big shower gel and shampoo containers fixed to the bathroom wall instead of using small plastic bottles that are bad for the environment. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean.

There was a male guest who made noise all night long, screaming and shouting inside and outside his room, but staff didn't do anything about it. Male staff were very pleasant but the woman could be more approachable - she didn't smile at all and looked like working there was some sort of punishment for her.

Close enough to the old town but away from the mob of tourists that visit Santiago de Compostela. Good value, excellent staff, parking available.

There are a few stair steps to climb with luggage before getting to the elevator to the lobby on the 4th floor. This should be noted in the hotel description. If a disabled person books a room, they need to know to call the hotel staff upon arrival to request access the hotel garage, as it has access to an elevator without climbing stairs.

This property is well located - walking distance to the old quarter and the Cathedral. The room was basic but had all the essentials. It was quiet and private. The staff were professional and attentive. The sitting area near recepction was an added bonus.

If I'm being very picky, perhaps the room/bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but I did only see one person doing all the work (and they seemed efficient), so maybe it was more of a lack of time to do a polished job.

It was a 10 min walk from the bus station . We flew in to Santiago de Compostela late in the evening and had no problem checking in here. They have 24 hour reception. The man in reception was very helpful and gave us a map and directions. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Toiletries are provided in bathroom. Shower was good and towels are provided. The wifi was good and easy to join. There is a sports bar next door that offer a very tasty and reasonably priced breakfast. Taxi to property cost €23 Would defiantly stay here again .

The Mexoco is excellemt value for money. It is very clean, comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is well situated, just a 10 minute walk from the bUs and train stations and only a short distance from the historic centre. There are plenty of supermarkets and cafeterias close by. There is a TV lounge where breakfast can be taken.

Good beds, sheets and towels. Good place to start the Camino finisterre.

We had agreed to leave our bags while we were away walking for 5 days and staff insisted that we leave our bags the morning we were leaving. However that morning the chap at the desk didn’t speak any English. We got there eventually with google translator but would have been easier if we had been able to leave our bags with the staff who spoke English.

My questions were answered promptly prior to arrival and check in was both friendly and efficient. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Great location close to all the major attractions yet out of the crowds in the centre of it all, so quiet for a good night's sleep. Both the train and bus stations are also only a short walk away. Definitely excellent value for money. I would both recommend to others and stay again.

Everything else i like. Staff 5 stars, multilingual, very responsive. They should be given high salaries. Rooms and private bathrooms are 5 stars. Clean and functional. Their lounge is spacious and comfy with vendo machine and a bar. At street level, there are restaurants and tapas. But if you wanna eat heavy, the grocery is just across. Transpo is veryyyyyyyy near. Essential because going to the plaza de obradoiro is uphill. €1 per bus ride. Cash is accepted. Very near the train station, you can actually just walk but if you have heavy luggage, just take the bus uphill and get off one stop. All directions will be downhill, easier to transport your luggage. That's what i did because my wife bought a lot of souvenirs already and we are just halfway our tour! Jesus Christ!

Ground floor to the elevator only has stairs to about 1 floor up level. It is a Problem when U have heavy luggage, but not impossible. I'm sure they may improve that.

Good location for airport transport and bus and train stations. Near plenty places to eat and bars. Also easy to walk to tourist sites. Very walkable city. Great value for money and generally clean and well serviced. Staff we met were friendly. Lift to all floors. Good sized rooms. Second time staying here and would be happy to do so again.

Beds were a bit too firm but that's only personal taste. Slightly noisy through the walls and corridors at times.
