This is a luxurious hotel just across the river from the old town, to which it is connected by a convenient footbridge outside the front door. The welcome and the service were friendly and helpful and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. If you wish to eat out there is a wide choice of places just across the river, but the restaurant in the hotel is beautiful with excellent food and a superb wine list including many outstanding local wines. I was walking the Camino with my son and we found our stay here to be a real treat.

The location was great. The bathtub was amazing after a long day of walking. The breakfast buffet it was also one of the best of all hotels I stayed in.

The man at the front desk checked me in, was not friendly at all. As soon as he found out, I did not speak Spanish. He seem to change his tune. I just did not feel he was very helpful or friendly. when I asked questions about breakfast and a massage, he was very short with his answer, and just was not friendly compared to other places I have stayed

The location is excellent and the interior felt modern and classy. The rooms had an equally modern feel.

The elevator jolted twice every time we used it. Brace your knees. The sliding glass bathroom door opened would open by itself likely due to uneven installation. At breakfast the staff joked that breakfast was €100 not only once but twice in a very serious tone. I did not appreciate it given we were clearly pilgrims and didn’t speak the language.

Location beyond a beautiful bridge with a little waterfall that was very scenic in the good weather. Staff had great communication and the food was above and beyond. I really thought this was well worth the price and was a nice start to our Camino de Santiago

We wished that there were more gluten free/non ham options in the buffet. But that’s a general issue in the Galician region! The locals here seem to eat nothing but bread, cake, ham sandwiches. :)

Location is perfect right in front of the serene river and next to the Camino trail. The room was cleaned, comfortable and I loved that I could open the windows to let the fresh air in. From the hotel it was a short walk to center of town and cathedral. Hotel has cafeteria itself but limited menu probably because we went there during quiet time of the year. It has nice outdoor sitting area and roomy lobby.

Walking the camino with my mother. Excellent location and brilliant value for money, also as we were checking out before breakfast started at 7am they gave us a packed lunch for the day. The ensuit bathroom was huge and shower was class. Big and roomy

No food available between 5pm and 8pm , but loads of cafes etc within 100 yards so all was good.

The location is fantastic. The front desk staff is excellent. The facility is clean. Having a restaurant downstairs for all meals is really helpful. Food was good. It is a good 2 or 3 star hotel, but definitely not 4 star.

The rooms need updating. The room furniture is chipped, the mattress is worn, and there are no electric outlets by bed for phone recharging.

Very spacious room with space to hang our wet clothes after cycling in the rain. Also plenty of space to unpack all our bags which is necessary when you're cycling the Camino. Safe place to park our bikes. Nice terrace to sit and have coffee or a vino tinto. Lovely location beside the river. Very good dinner in the dining room.

Breakfast has all the basics. Nothing fancy but good enough

We stayed for two nights during St. John’s festival and it was supper noisy. Music was blaring all night. Firecrackers went off randomly. We asked for a room on the quieter side but was given the noisy side! Maybe it cannot be helped.

Great bar on the river. Location and food was great. Staff were very friendly.

It was impossible to understand how the breakfast arrangements worked. They need some simple signage to assist on on Spanish speaking visitors.
