The room was inner facing - so no views, but really quiet. Clean and large enough for what we needed ... a place to sleep and wash. Aircon was quiet and efficient. Staff are helpful and polite. The location of the hotel is central. Almost all of the major places of interest are walkable, many less than 10 minutes away. Excellent selection of restaurants with a broad spectrum of price ranges and styles. Flamenco bars close by too, if that's your bag.

What could have been better is entirely down to my failing - I really need to learn some Spanish to fully appreciate the place. Not that speaking English is a problem, many people we met spoke enough English to be able to understand what we needed, but having at least some of the local language enhances the experience≥

The Location is central yet quiet and an easy stroll to restaurants and bars. The standard room is spacious. The breakfast was very good plenty to eat and covers a variety of tastes. The table service was good and the staff were attentive and friendly. On the busy Monday morning when many clients were checking out and time poor the staff kept up with customer demands. The bed and bedlinen was very comfortable. Check-in and out was smooth and efficient. I would stay here in future. A longer repertoire and bigger variety of Mozart's music would be better as the recorded rotation got a bit monotonous.

This is the most elegant and beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we walked in the Hotel Amadeus staff was so kind, helpful, and polite. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated, very clean, and smells amazing! We loved the breakfast they offered, definitely worth the extra cost! Our room had an amazing shower, was clean and beautifully decorated as well. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with a pool, hot tub, bar, & lots of different seating options. I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel and would highly encourage anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in Madrid to book here!!!

It’s a lovely hotel. We got an upgrade from superior room to junior suite so the room was big. We were in the older part of the hotel so it had charm and original features. Reception staff were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The rooftop is a maze of small spaces which felt really private. The plunge pool was a perfect bonus on a hot day. Breakfast was great, all table service do they bring you a variety of options. Coffee options were limited but it still tasted good. The whole hotel was really clean and had a very calming feel to it. Location was perfect for exploring the old city

No on site parking sadly, had to use an underground car park nearby but it wasn’t far away

The property was very clean and attractively decorated in the general areas. The hotel is very close to most tourist attractions and loads of very good tapas restaurants.

The first room I was offered was cramped and not the one I booked. The hotel was quick to offer us a better room but it was an awkward start to the holiday. The bar on the roof was only opened about half 4 and it was very hot up there. There were two very steep staircases between the bar and the plunge pool which was very cold. Breakfast was odd as waitresses served everyone with the same breakfast (no choice), however there was plenty to eat.

The Amadeus was wonderful, top to bottom. The location could not be beat as it is on a quiet "street" but also very close to lots of restaurants, the cathedral, and Alcazar. The breakfast served in the mornings was delicious and generous. The people were very kind and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. The rooftop was dreamy.

We really loved everything. Our only small recommendation would be to invest in more umbrellas and perhaps sail shades for the roof as it was extremely hot and many customers couldn't find enough shade. If there is any way to create a small workout room, that would also be very appreciated by customers.

Absolutely unique boutique hotel decorated around the theme of music with violins and a piano in the salons. The room was very modern and recently decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very central location, you could walk to the Alcazar and the cathedral in a few minutes.

Our room had no view, just a big window opening to a central narrow atrium, so basically a wall, The breakfast was disappointing, they had it delivered from another place as they didn't have a kitchen on the premises. So you had no choice of eggs or anything else.

The rooftop was unique and unforgettable! Sitting above the rooftops of the Old City, looking across to the Cathedral, watching the birds fly all around and next in the tiled church tower nearby— truly a special experience. The location was so convenient to all the sights of the old city, and the cool elegant interior made a welcome respite from the heat. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was especially tasty! I would recommend asking to sit in the room with the skylight, away from the bar - it’s even nicer than the main cafe room.

It was all-around wonderful so no real complaints. The pool is just as tiny as it looks and was not very cool during our hot, hot visit. Ok to sit in and cool off but not to swim. The hotel is probably not great for younger kids as there are many beautiful musical instruments on display - so tempting for little hands!!

Location was perfect, in the heart of Santa Cruz neighbourhood, famous for tapas bar and charming narrow streets, and also a few metres away from La Giralda (Seville's beautiful Cathedral). Staff were very nice and friendly, always happy to help. The room was clean and comfortable and the communal areas were charming and invited to relaxation. We didn't make much use of the roof top area and swimming pool, due to the high temperatures (we visited in August), but the views were amazing from the top. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Everything, the staff very welcoming and helpful , the hotel is very authentic yet updated with beautiful local style , rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable, very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds . Location is walking distance from all the attractions yet not noisy .to havd a good sleep . They have beautiful terrace to enjoy a drink and a dip in a salty pool ...probably perfect for winter time . Breakfast is a set menu but very nice with lots variety.

The first night I had a room with a window overlooking a wall , the reception lady was so nice and tried to help , but the hotel was fully booked . However they were nice enough to upgrade me the next day to a very beautiful room (with lots of windows) . This is very understandable if you're staying in the city center, don't expect to have a view , streets are very narrow and buildings don't have spaces for patios . If you have a phobia of some kind , make sure to ask for a room with a window to the outdoor .
