The building is beautiful and it’s very central. The roof terrace is a great place to sit early evening. Our bed was very comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Noise was an issue. Our room (104) had a large stained glass window onto the central atrium and was directly over reception. Anyone staying in this room can hear everything going on or said in there, including late-night arrivals and early morning cleaning. If you are a light sleeper, you’ll need ear plugs. We went with a group of friends and the rooms varied enormously. One couple had 105, which is small, dark and has a view onto an unpleasant light well; another had a beautiful room with a big bed and a large balconied window onto the street…. Yet we all paid the same. It’s a lottery! Staff could not offer us another room, however did offer alternatives to the couple in 105, but they had to move room each night.

Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the old city, 1 minute from the cathedral and ideal for visiting all of the central attractions of Sevilla, plus of course its wonderful bars and restaurants. Add to this modern comforts with historic charm and honestly there is nothing not to like here. My second visit to this beautiful hotel. First time we had a premier room at the front with a balcony, this time our standard twin was smaller and at the back. Slightly cramped but still comfortable and very clean. Love the little touches, like the hotel logo on the towels etc. Having a mini fridge is great too, I imagine in summer that would be even more useful. Breakfast on the terrace is a must. Even though Seville was colder than usual, the sun still warms quickly and the views are worth it. Highly recommend this hotel if you want location and character. Just gorgeous.

We found the church bells and air conditioning units to be noisy, but I am a very sensitive sleeper. Need to upgrade my earplugs, maybe. Being underneath the terrace kitchen/roof terrace we found the cleaning or setting up to be disturbing too. There appeared to be tables and chairs dragged around from 5:30am onwards. Perhaps,in deference to guests, this could be done later?

Fantastic location, right by the cathedral but on a quiet street. The building is quirky with many unique features. One of our rooms had a terrace with views of the cathedral (room 302). The other room (203) was darker with a small window that opened onto the enclosed lobby. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Cleanliness was excellent. The public terrace on the roof was delightful for viewing the cathedral at night. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always available. The breakfast included more than we could eat so we took the fruit for lunch. Highly recommended.

Great location, large room, excellent breakfast. Pretty hotel with nice rooftop. Very nice and helpful staff.

Shower water temperature took a long time to warm and did not stay warm. Had to turn shower cold off resulting in not enough water. Did not like shower head placement as was forced to use the sprayer off the handle.

It's a beautiful hotel, with absolutely gorgeous tiling. It's quirky, being built around a central courtyard that's the reception, which means no rooms are on long corridors. Our room had everything we needed, and our bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. Breakfast was tasty and individually prepared with a good choice. We were lucky enough to be able to have it on the rooftop terrace with views of the cathedral. All the staff were very helpful and very smiley. Its location is absolutely perfect for exploring Seville being right in the heart of the historic centre. Whilst the city was very busy, the hotel was a haven of peace and tranquility. The city is bursting with fabulous places to eat and all within a very short walk from the hotel.

Does having to leave count?!

Plentiful breakfast served to your table on the roof terrace, it is not a shared buffet. Hotel is a short walk from the cathedral and there are good shops and restaurants on the same street. All the staff were very helpful. It is not marketed as 5 star so bear that in mind when setting your own expectations. It is quirky in a good way, so embrace it.

We knew that it did not have parking. Be prepared for narrow streets and lots of people on the road not the footpath when you are finding the parking.

You can see from the photos and description that this is a hotel in a traditional atrium house, individually styled, quirky rooms, beautiful traditional features and that's what we chose it for. We don't need the spa, bar, pool etc that larger hotels might have. The big benefit was the calm atmosphere, wonderful staff and personal touch that this small hotel gives. Each room is different and the use of upcycled and traditional pieces was lovely. Even standard rooms have a little fridge, kettle, sitting area and good storage. The nice roof terraces were great for relaxing on a sunny afternoon or watching sunset.

Due to a misunderstanding that was nobody's fault we didn't have a room overlooking the pretty atrium, as we had hoped, however we had all that we needed and the staff's care and attention to this was outstanding.

Fantastic location and beautiful entrance hall. Having a lift up to our second floor room was great, roof terrace had great views of the Cathedral. Bed was large and comfortable. Fresh lillies were a lovely touch. Room was large and clean Staff very helpful. Room was quiet.

Our room had a slight musty/drains smell which, on our arrival, was masked by cleaning products. Wardrobe was small, old and probably authentic but not very practical, and the wires need fixing. Room was dark as we faced the interior. I think a terrace room would be lighter.

Fantastic location, in the heart of the city. Small historic boutique hotel full of character. Bedroom was large and comfortable.

Our room had an unpleasant odour. This was only apparent in the bedroom, not the bathroom. We reported it and the room was sprayed and it was much better until the following day, when the smell came back. The staff seemed to be aware of the problem and said it was due to the rain, this could well be the cause as it hadnt rained until we arrived then rained almost continuously until we left! As we were only staying two nights we didn't report again. Especially as everything else was very good.

Fabulous location and the traditional style of architecture is something you won’t see in many properties. It is a family owned and managed hotel and the welcome was very warm.

The hotel won’t be to everyone’s taste and the antiquity and style of the property means that there are a few compromises to be made. For a two night stay, however, that wasn’t an issue for us. The overall experience was a very positive one.
