Lovely young lady(with glasses) on Reception. She was very pleasant, helpful and an excellent ambassador for the Hotel. This is a nice Hotel which is only 5 minutes walk to the beach and roughly 10 minutes by bus from Tarragona( Bus 11 or 12). The Hotel has parking( also free parking on street), small outdoor swimming pool and an Aldi and Mercado within 200 metres. Almost across the road from the Hotel if you go up the flight of steps you will, find on the right two very good coffee shops. Overall this a good hotel in a good area.

Wifi is very spotty. It really needs a boost. WiFi very much influences where I stay.

The staff were fantastic and so accommodating. The pool was a perfect sun trap and lots of attention was given to the pool - cleaning, temperature and level check frequently. The maids were also great and friendly and very attentive. A small beach was close by.

The rooms were a little tired looking and weren't modern but the balcony was big and the bathroom with added small bath was a bonus. The location wasn't as good as it was a bit of a walk / catch the bus to get the main square and sights like the Mediterranean Balcony and Amputheatre for example. It was also a shame that the little pool bar wasn't open.

Balcony overlooking the swimming pool and view of the sea, breakfast (scrambled eggs and sunny side up eggs were good), great location except for a long walk from train with luggage, but was great once there because it was very close to the beach and a pleasant walk to the old city centre and La Rambla, all staff were wonderful (front desk, kitchen/breakfast, and cleaning staff.

It was our second stay at the Hotel Nuria and we found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. Its a perfect base for us whilst visiting family who live nearby. Continental breakfast was offered with cheese, cooked meats, jam, cereral, croissant and pastries as well as fried or scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. All very tasty. We hope to return soon.

Nice room with a small balcony. Most important - Air condition worked very well. Room was comfortable, clean, wit a big bed. A nice small pool is available downstairs, however the beach is around 200m walking distance from the hotel. A bus stop is located near the hotel and city center is within 15min ride. There are 2 big markets near the hotel which is very convinient.

Breakfast is bit expensive if you do not have this option included in the regular price of your room.

Lovely hotel, nice style, staff were really friendly. Really nice pool and outdoor area. Close to the beach and a good shop/ restaurant next door.

I think the walls are a bit thin, could hear everything happening outside and in the corridor. Also in the morning when having breakfast someone in the kitchen was constantly banging something, went on for the half hour or so we were there, got annoying, however I'm sure it mustn't happen everyday!

Nothing bad, but it’s 20 mins from the old town centre. No worries - two big supermarkets are located in the hotel’s neighbourhood and the bus station is just next to the hotel. You can also order the meals in the hotel’s restaurant

This is a lovely, welcoming hotel with excellent English spoken by the reception staff both of whom were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped and there were very nice toiletries in the bathroom. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. It was only a short walk to the beach and local bars. We ate our evening meal in the hotel in the bar area as the restaurant wasn’t open. The food was good and the bar area was pleasant. Service was good. Breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely helpful. The coffee machine ran out just as I was using it and the waitress immediately went to refill it. I sat down to eat as my hot food was going cold and, without being asked, a waiter went and made me a coffee as soon as the machine was working and brought it over to me! I was delighted with such thoughtful and attentive service! We used the hotel’s secure parking which is quite tight both in terms of getting in and out and the spaces available. That said, we managed to reverse in our Land Rover Discovery so don’t be put off! There are many parking spaces on the road but they were very busy so it would have been a bit of a walk had we not parked in the hotel’s underground parking. There is an unloading space right in front of the hotel which is very useful too. Overall it was a great stop-off on our journey – close to the motorway and easy to find.

The room was comfortable, good lighting, effective air conditioning and felt very safe. Bed was large, mattress firm and sheets clean every day.

There wasn't much choice or variety at breakfast, particularly for vegetarians. The same options came out every morning and the cooked food was not kept hot. Sometimes the staff were not on top of re-stocking supplies. The coffee machine was also quite slow and caused a queue. It would be better to have more than one hot drink dispenser.

Rooms are quite simple and a bit old fashioned but besides that the hotel is very nice. Best breakfast and facilities you can find for a 3* hotel. Staff was very friendly and rooms extremely clean. It was fall so we couldn’t enjoy the pool area but looked cozy and well decorated. Is not in the city center but the location is very convenient.
