The hotel has been thoughtfully and sympathetically restored. The rooms where clean and reasonably well appointed. The continental breakfast was delicious, generous, well prepared and individually presented. The location was central and views from our balcony and the upper terrace were pretty spectacular - such a shame that the close proximity of fast food restaurants, for us, took away from the overall historic authenticity of the location (we realize that this might not bother everyone and that this is out with the owners control). The friendliness of the member of staff on reception and the availability of a slightly early check-in at no extra cost was also a plus.

No lift until the first floor isn’t ideal with heavy cases. The lack of bar facilities and a communal lounge area to relax in when not out and about was disappointing. The roof terrace could do with some loungers - again to allow guests to relax when the weather is cooler. Background music - at breakfast for example - might have provided a bit of atmosphere and ambience; the hotel lacked this generally in our opinion. No one on reception overnight and no room service. Out with the owners control, but the hotels position next door to a Burger King and a McDonalds was a big negative for us; we prefer locations that are more sympathetic to the historic environment in places like Toledo.

The location was The Best! Although Toledo is a small town but the hotel is located simply within walking distance of every place that you might be interested to visit including historical places or even bars/restaurants. The breakfast was also good as well. It was different and unique served in a tray full of various items for any taste. Given the town/location/etc. the room and its size definitely exceeded our expectations. The bed was good and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were spacious and well equipped. The staff were all friendly and willing to help. All of the restaurants recommended by them were found to be very tasty and delicious.

There was nothing that I can say we didn't like. However, the only thing that it could be better or improved (not sure if possible or practical), is the air conditioning. Somehow, it appeared that the system was connected between rooms (if room next to us was on Heating, our room could not be on Cold). However, fortunately, the weather and timing of the year was something that we could manage our stay without any trouble. To be fair, in summer while everyone would be on Cold, this could not be an issue at all.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It’s a small 12-room hotel and the people who run it make you feel really well looked-after. Veronica, in particular, is a gem. Thank you, Veronica! The bedroom is lovely, with a balcony overlooking a busy town square. And can I just say: the bathroom, omg! It’s newly renovated, large and super modern. During the day, the town is heaving with day-trippers from Madrid but evenings are peaceful. Lots to see walking around the historic town but also some brilliant sights when you go outside the town walls

All was good!

Very clean, comfortable, elegant. Central location accessible by public transport. Breakfast was nice. Staff friendly and efficient. Safe entrance locked with room card.

Is this a "boutique" hotel? I guess it depends on your definition of the term. This is a fairly modern house on a plaza at the entrance to the old city, near the Burger King/McDonald's/Starbucks trio, in fact it is above BK. Furnished with expensive yet bland style and operated by employees. You could probably get a more "authentic" experience at this price level. Front-facing rooms can get a little noisy due to hordes of tourists flooding the plaza during daytime. Evening and night were nice and quiet though. Rooms need a little touch beyond the expensive designer, e.g. it would have been nice to have another place except the floor to put your soap bottles inside the lavish shower.

Location, convenient to buses, restaurants, cities. Beautiful views, from room and rooftop terrace.

Requested breakfast when checking in in the afternoon but next morning they said I wasn't booked so they couldn't accommodate me in their breakfast room. No matter, easy enough to get breakfast nearby, for a lot less than 14 Euros. Other thing is, elevator doesn't go to the entry/exit. You have to go up one or two floors to reach reception and the elevator starts there, at European first floor, though there were like 20 steps to get to the reception level.

We loved the location and the rooms were excellent with everything you would need and the small balcony was a bonus with great views. Also the staff were wonderful and on our arrival booked us into a nearby restaurant which meant we didn't have to worry. The staff provided lots of advice and were super friendly. We would 100% recommend this hotel and would stay again. One of the best hotels we have stayed in also make sure you check out the roof top terrace with it's great views over the city. Thanks David and Monica

Nothing all was great.

This hotel is super nice! Historic in nature, but with beautiful modern updates and thoughtful decor. The Junior Suite Rooms are very spacious with views over Zocodover Plaza and the rooftop terrace has wonderful views of the Alcazar. The staff is amazing. At check-in they take their time to introduce you to the city and things to do and see. Eva was great at making sure our taxi back to Madrid was arranged to catch our flights back home. Excellent experience and worth the price when in Toledo.

No elevator from the ground floor, so have to carry your luggage up one flight then there is an elevator. Not a big deal for us, but could be for others.

Such a friendly welcome when we arrived. The staff are just lovely. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent being very central to everything. The bathroom was very spacious and nice.

Because of the lack of air conditioning at this time, we had to sleep with the French door open. I can sleep anywhere, however it was a little noisy. Also, would have preferred a breakfast buffet instead of the breakfast being on each individual table.

This hotel was fantastic in all regards. Staff went above and beyond from loaning umbrellas, suggesting helpful places to see and places to eat, and even making enquirers for my next hotel. Very lovely and also relaxed. Breakfast was perfect. Couldn’t eat everything so took fruits for snacks later. Room was beautiful with a lovely view of the square and Christmas lights in December. Bus to the train station leaves from the square. Two supermarkets very close. Lots of restaurants and shops. I really recommend this place!

All perfect 🤩

The location was great- right on Zocodover Plaza. We had a balcony overlooking the plaza. The room was very clean and decorated in classic luxury. The receptionist couldn’t do more to make your stay in Toledo special.

The only negative was that the elevator didn’t go all the way to the ground floor.
