Small boutique hotel with lots of antiques and vintage items, which we like. Nice room and very quiet. It rained a lot so we could not use the terrasse. But a terrasse is there and looked very nice too. We only met the lady who did the breakfast, who was very friendly and could answer any questions. The reception is seldom manned I think. We got in with a code. They send you by email info and videos on how to get in the main door and to your room. That worked very well! Breakfast was a continental and very good and sufficient (the lady prepares the coffee and the bread on the spot and on the table you have a selection of cheese and hams and sweet). Price wise very good value for what you get, esp as the hotel is in the centre of Toledo.
the shower needs a bit of attention. Mould on the shower bottom part. Its difficult to keep clean we know. Wifi in our room did not work (signal too weak). But outside the room where there is a couch it worked and in the main entrance area too. I think with a booster/mesh system it would have worked in the room too. If you have less mobility that this may not be the hotel for you as there is no lift.............and Toledo with the streets going up and sdown may also not be the town for you.

My room has a panoramic view of the City; it was spectacular . The room was spacious with antique furniture - it felt like a special place. The hotel is very small, I'm guessing 6 rooms. So very quiet. The host was fantastic. He greeted me with a warm welcome and took me to my room. During my stay, I was careless and dropped a personal item out of the window. He was immediately available by phone and coordinated for its recovery. I really appreciate that my stressful situation was resolved so quickly and with no issues. I highly recommend this charming hotel in Toledo.
Only a few things. I would have appreciated more pillows and a softer option. The breakfast was bread, jam and coffee. It was fine, but would have preferred to skip and not have the expense. I would have liked to learn more about the 15th century building. A seating area outside of my room on 2nd floor was very nice. I would have enjoyed using it, but the motion-sensor lights turn off immediately with no movement.

From outside it is easy to miss that hotel, but inside it looks great, excellent in-style decoration, with some nice smell and silent music. Great view from the terrace, good size bedroom, freshly fitted bathroom and Nespresso machine in the room :) . Regarding the comfort of the beds we have a small debate - for me it was a little bit to soft, but others said it was perfect for them. Good breakfast and excellent location - just 2 min from the castle and maybe 8min from the cathedral (if you find a shortcut). Very nice and friendly staff - they were waiting for us on expected arrival time
I can't find any negatives, really

The terrace caught my eye immediately when I was looking for accommodation in Toledo, and it turn out to be very true. I can stay in the terrace for a whole day!!! Excellent staff, both the lady and the gentleman. This historical building in mystic street is full of the vibe of ancient Spain for me, I like the appearance outside and all decors in side. Closed to shops and restaurants but in a very quiet area. Lovely stay for 2 nights~
Nothing to complain. The noise from other guests is very acceptable coz it's a historical building, poor sound insulation is the natural part of it.

What's not to love? Basically we walked into a Moroccan Riad in the old town of Toledo in Spain! Absolutely beautifully furnished and decorated, with such skilful attention to detail. Our room was just gorgeous with a view across the city (which we really need to go back and explore!) The bathroom was almost a shock to walk into after the colours and fabrics of the bedroom - an amazing, ultra-modern shower room with rain shower and a mirror I immediately coveted! (Didn't steam up and at the touch of a button on the mirror, lights came on all around it.) Breakfast was included and was in the stunning vaulted-ceilinged cellar room. Carlos was there to greet us when we arrived and could not have been more helpful in making our stay, brief as it was, as good as it could possibly be. We also had safe underground parking about 150 metres from the hotel and we had a good deal through the hotel. Note: it's not clear, but you go and pay at the parking on level 1!
It was all really great - a mini fridge in the room would have been lovely. (If there was one, we didn't find it!). Perhaps some light privacy curtains would be an idea, as there's a terrace outside the bedroom window for the guests to look out over the city and, they can see straight in if you don't have the ordinary curtains closed!

Location was great and everything is really close from the Almunia - restaurants, coffee shops, points of interest, etc.. Breakfast was really good as well.
The room had a few faulty things, like the shutter and the door couldn't be fully closed from the inside. Also, the view from the window during day time was not the best because of an old building that was falling, but at night it was amazing, as you could see the Cathedral and Coty lights.

The check-in was super smooth and the host super friendly while giving us a tour. Great view off the shared balcony. The bed was very comfortable and included a thick pillow and top sheet, which we've found has been rare elsewhere. The room and building are nicely decorated and just has a lovely charm about it. Breakfast is simple but delicious and served quickly. We had a small issue with the private toilet, but staff found a quick and suitable remedy. I'd be happy to stay here longer; unfortunately we were only in Toledo 1 night.
The wifi was a little spotty in our upper floor room, however just outside the room in a common area it was fine.

The hotel was beautifully furnished and v comfortable. It was definitely a bonus to have breakfast provided and the terrace had gorgeous views. It was in a great central area where you could walk to everywhere
As Iâm not a coffee drinker, no tea was available in the room like there was a coffee machine. The builders next door woke us every morning with drilling and banging about 8ish on the wall behind the bed. We could also hear all the air conditioning units go on and off

The staff were amazing and very attentive. And I would definitely recommend Almunia.
The bed is extremely hard. And the shower is extremely small. I didn't have enough room to lift my arms or to lather up. I realize it's an ancient building (12th century I believe, so modern things had to be added centuries after it was built ) which is nice, but the shower is so small I had to keep turning off the water, open the door to soap up my body, then restar the water to rinse off. Also, I realize this is sort of a first world problem. If you're traveling, you just have to adjust and realize your expectations might be to heavily based in what you've had in modern cities.

This is a beautiful three-story small hotel embedded in the tiny winding lanes of ancient Toledo. The staff member who looked after the breakfast and services was amazing - friendly, helpful, and hard working. The hotel is kept in immaculate condition and features beautiful historic decorations. The views from the windows and terrazzo were lovely. I was attending a conference at the Palacio de congresos and it was a short 7 minute walk up the lanes to the Alcazar and then down to the conference.
Just the wifi. It didn't really work. Some days it worked on the second floor but mostly not. It usually worked if you sat in reception - but not when there were several guests trying to use it. I would suggest they invest a small amount in a Wifi upgrade and a booster.
