The property is about as close to the action in old town Valencia as you can possibly get. As soon as you step out of the front door, the main square is 10 feet away, and the Metropolitan Cathedral is at the same end of the square on the other side. Everything in old town is within walking distance of this hotel. From the Central Mercado (approx. 5 minutes) to the Serranos Towers (approx. 5 minutes), you are really in the heart of the action. The rooftop restaurant/bar is also fantastic with an incredible view over the old city. The drinks were superb and the food very well made. Also, the hostess who was there when we arrived was one of the nicest hostesses I've ever come across in a hotel restaurant. The room was very new and had everything you could have asked for. From a very comfortable bathroom that was away from the bed area, to a table and chairs, microwave/oven combo, refrigerator, pod-based coffee machine, and a couch with coffee table and TV at the foot of the bed, it was extremely comfortable.

The amount of storage in the room was rather small. There was a small closet in the corner that extended to the cathedral ceilings but you really could only access the lower portion and the shelf above the clothes rod. Other than that, there were no drawers. There was a large table like space under the window which allowed us to store our luggage for easy access, but they could have halved the space there and added drawers to make it easier to access clothing.

We had a wonderful stay , fantastic location , additionally on the 4th floor , (restaurant/bar)there is an absolute star called Avril , who serves breakfast with the happiest nature and most enthusiastic smile she couldn’t be more charming and is a real credit to the hotel

The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the center of the old town, so many places to eat and drink right at your door step. The staff at reception and the rooftop bar were all lovely and so helpful, even before asking they would help, and never pushy, just a really nice group.

Pool was freezing (with all the sunshine, a bit of solar heating would go a long way), however given it was October and thats about the ONLY thing id suggest improving, I had to think hard for something i didnt like, it really was a lovely hotel and location.

Perfectly situated in the Old Town - near lots of pedestrianised streets and plazas but still accessible by taxi. Excellent friendly and helpful staff and lovely rooftop restaurant, specially well-managed by a marvellous young woman who repeatedly went out of her way to ensure we stayed warm, comfortable and well-fed.

Nothing comes to mind. All of our memories from the Valentia Cabillers are happy ones.

The location was very good. The room was spacious with big king size bed. Space with small Kitchenette area and fridge, where we could prepare meals and snacks was really useful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Although it says there is a swimming pool, it’s really only a plunge pool for cooling off, with only a few sun beds. One time I tried to use, but all beds were taken up by a group of women. There are no lounge areas to sit in as such, only a rooftop terrace with a small bar, which also doubles as their breakfast area. Breakfast was just adequate, not much choice.

Fantastic location in a little side street right by the cathedral. It was surprisingly dead quiet though on the evenings so no sleep interruption which was great. The bed is really comfortable. You have everything you need to make food if you want to in the suite and it is a good size. The terrace at the top is a great place to have a drink at the evening and you are really close to the beautiful of domes and the main cathedral tower which is a great view.

I filter on pools as I wanted that on our holiday. The pool is the smallest I have ever seen and is standing room only (not swimming!) despite not using the pool the other positives made our stay fantastic.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the historic centre of Valencia, just off the main square in a quiet little street. The hotel staff were amazing - welcoming, friendly and very efficient at all times. A special mention for the receptionists, especially Esther; and the breakfast serving staff, especially Avril, for their cheerfulness and helpfulness. The roof terrace is a lovely place to have breakfast and to relax at any time of the day or evening.

The pool on the roof is quite small. The layout of our suite was a little strange, with the settee facing the kitchen area rather than the TV. But we didn't watch the TV anyway.

Location is fantastic - just off the Placa de la Reina but even with the central location it was nice and quiet at night. Room was clean, comfy and airco worked very well. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooftop pool is small but very nice. Hotel also offers to help with bike rentals - it was a great place. Would come again!

Kitchen could have been a bit better stocked (no cutting board, no bread knife, only pan was rather small). A noticeable lack of electrical sockets (only one free socket in the kitchen - not even free sockets next to the bed). None of these are major points, just room for improvement.

The hotel is located just off the main square in the Old Town. It is the perfect location to soak up the Valencian atmosphere surrounded by its history and heritage. The staff were all particularly friendly and helpful.

A small thing - but the quality of the toilet paper was poor. In a 4* venue every bit of contact luxury convinces you - I wasn't convinced by the lack of something just a little more up market. I also felt the shower gel/wash toiletries were of minimal effectiveness. Perhaps I just always use great soap....... again was a little disappointed about the quality with these.
