I'm a former hotel tester, which means I see everything as I'm trained. Well, this stay was absolutely exceptional. Everything was prepared. They totally took care of me. I highly appreciated everything as I really was stressed out. Some hours at the pool, totally silence, a mini bar with really reasonable prices, full breakfast (ham and cheese were waiting for me in the fridge, I could even have enjoyed it as a tapa).

Nothing. If I ever want to marry, I'll celebrate my wedding there. (not pretty probably, haha)

The hotel was easy to find and well signposted. I used this hotel as I could not get into the villa (5 miles away) until the next day. It was a bit hard to find reception or any staff, but this was due to a funeral taking place. I did call and the receptionist came out. The room was great, well laid out and had a lovely balcony looking over the pool and the rest of the hotel. It was lovely and quiet on the day I stayed, but it looks like the hotel is geared up as the local disco.

The hotel is nice enough and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The location is quiet and it's a good starting point for exploring the whole string of typical villages that make up the Mudejar Route.

We stayed overnight on the Monday which happened to be Valentines Day. The hotel itself was empty and there was no hotel bar or restaurant open, and very few options for eating and drinking in Arenas itself, so it was a bit difficult. I had specifically booked a room with the pool view online, but we were not allocated that room. The room we were given was fine, but I would rather have had the one I chose.

It is good price but located in the hills about 20 mins drive up. Staff were responsive. Bed was king size, the largest we've encountered so far. Ample provisions were provided for self catering breakfast, jam, cheese, jamon, tomata spread, juice, milk, water 1.5L x2, with bread hung on a door leading to the village. Coffee machine with capsules. Tasty!

Too cold and late to use the pool. Not their fault!

Great staff - super friendly and helpful. Very relaxing location and fantastic pool. Good value for money.

Make sure you get there via Vélez Málaga, otherwise your satnav will take you across a pretty challenging 'Camino rural'! Also, there are no shutters, so take an eye blind if you don't want to be awake super early every day.

No breakfast when they I booked it. there is a users manual on the room that says that breakfast if in the fridge. that’s correct but no bred etc available. Food in the fridge all in plastic.

Everything. The owners and staff couldn't be any more helpful and good willing. The entire place, premises included, is spotless. Dead easy to check in and out. Everyone was friendly and there are no nags whatsoever.

Breathtaking views.Value for money. Welcoming hosts. Fantastic location. Clean.Superb amenities. Seldom is it nowadays where something goes over and beyond expectations. Well this is one such place. I have stayed at 5 star accommodations that are not as good.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 10/10 Will definitely return

It is a beautiful small hotel with a swimming pool. The room was pretty little but the balcony was great! Sitting on the balcony we could enjoy the view of the mountains.

The breakfast could be a bit better.

Very nice space to relax in mountains and close to beaches. Very quiet, as we were there out of the season. Friendly atmosphere, nice people around.
