Lovely stay unforeseen as we could not get into France as the farmers were blocking the road .Angle in the breakfast room was a delight and very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble.A little gem, unlike the Maitre D in the evening dining room, he needs to smile more and not be so uptight.

Beautifully situated historic hotel where for a slight price increase we were able to upgrade to a balcony room with beautiful view of the mountains. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely and very spacious.

Was a short drive to get into the town of Vielha but the spectacular views made up for it.

The breakfast and dinners were outstanding. The room is spacious and practical. The view is amazing. The staff, including cleaning and serving staff were lovely. We hiked out the door into the mountains.

The hotel is located on the highway heading into Viehla, so a little noisy. Other than that, the views are stunning and it was lovely walking down the hill into town.

It wasn't very clear when we booked our stay that it was a very difficult hike to Vielha town center. The main road is too busy and narrow so we had to hike up and down a very steep hill which we were not expecting reading the info. This walk is aprox 1,5 km to the town center or aprox 2km by car on the main road.

Panoramic views, especially from the dining room; well designed and comfortable seating areas. Ample breakfast, though not cheap, friendly staff.

Location in bend on main road several kilometres above the town means that you can't go anywhere on foot. Spa (including heated indoor swimming pool) was outrageously priced for hotel guests.

Great location! Quiet, even though close to a main road. Spectacular view on the valley below. Comfortable rooms. We had one with a balcony facing southwest. The lounge and restaurant above are wonderful. Also great views. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food and wines are good and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen, with free order of any eggs and other warm additions you like. In the general area, if you like mountains, there is much to do and see. Also close to France.

This was the second Paradores we visited in a week. Both had almost the same diner menu. So if you are traveling along many Paradores you may want a change somtimes. The town of Vielha has ample restaurants as alternatives.

The location is superb, the staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The spa is too expensive, there could be tea and coffee making facilities in the room

A super hotel in a lovely area. Our comfortable, stylish room had wonderful views over the valley. We stayed half board which meant we were able to enjoy extremely tasty food in the restaurant at a very reasonable cost.

The staff is polite, helpful beyond your needs and there's always a greeting for you. We didn't use the restaurant, but my daughter used the bar for a sandwich and it was great, a prelude what was to come in the morning, as breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel, no doubt. The variety, the quality and the hot breakfast at demand gave us all the strength we needed to enjoy Viella.
