The Tropical Life Resort and Spa is an amazing place to stay. The atmosphere was great and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious with all the amenities one could ask for. The comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep, while the balconies offer a perfect spot to enjoy the stunning views. The resort also has a range of facilities to keep guests entertained. There is a swimming pool and a pool table. I will be returning and would highly recommend it to others. Overall, a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

Nice hotel in a nice location in the nature. Keep in mind that the location on booking.com is wrong. The hotel is not close to the city centre. Check the correct location on google maps. There is nothing next to it and you will need a tuk tuk to go to the centre, but the surrounding nature is nice. The rooms are spacious and nice. We also used the swimming pool and it was enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner buffet have a lot of variety.

They need to fix some very basic things. There was a bad smell in the toilet coming from the sewage. The Wi-Fi is very bad, almost non-existent. The bed mattresses are very hard.

-very nice facilities -very good range of breakfast choices -also good menu for dinner/lunch options which can be ordered through rooms service -lovely staff who helped me organise transport during and after my stay! -about a 35 minute tuktuk ride to Sigiriya/Pidurangala. Most drivers are happy to wait at the bottom whilst you climb and then drop you back too for a little extra :)

-a bit of outisde noise can be heard from the room, but nothing that would ruin your stay :) -breakfast is only open between 7-9:30am, but also not too much of an issue. -apart from that, 10/10!!

We booked Tropical Life very last minute for 1 night and we are so glad we did - it's been the best hotel we've stayed in so far on our Sri Lanka trip! It's excellent value for money, with a lovely pool (which we had sandwiches and chips round!) and rooms with a stunning view. The staff are great and were helpful in organising taxis. The gym is an added bonus! We've already recommended the hotel to others and will continue to do so. Thanks!

One of the most relaxing places I've been to with a calming environment.

Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The hotel setting was nice and the staff exceedingly friendly.

Bathroom was a little dirty and balcony doors were not sealed properly which isn’t ideal in a tropical environment with mosquitos. That being said, we did not bring this up with the property so our room may have been a one-off.

the location and facilities are amazing, very well-maintained hotel in the middle of the nature. The dinner and breakfast were so delicious with big variety of food and drinks.

Loved the jungle-like setting, the restaurant and bar are pretty, the pool is beautiful. Everyone was so so nice there. Really nice bathroom!

Maybe the dining hours- dinner ends at 9:30 and breakfast also ends at 9:30…with both were a half hour later?

The pool was amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable. The daily cleaning was exceptional. The food was tasty and the restaurant staff were lovely.

It was raining hard which made it difficult to reach the restaurant. A lot of what we expected to be hot food e.g baked beans was cold.

The please is really nice! its very close to Dambulla - Colombo road, but once you turn to the hotel road it feels like you are entered to a jungle and from there on wards you will feel real tropical life feeling through out the stay.
