The view is exceptional, with a clear view of the 9 arches bridge. Senavi, the owner, was really helpful and came to pick up our luggage at the intersection, as the guesthouse is only accessible by Tuk Tuk. Walking to the 9 arches bridge was 5 minutes via a small trail. Tip: From the homestay, you can walk stage 16 of the Pekoe trail to Demodora. Fantastic and 'easy' walk through the countryside between fields and tea gardens. Return is 15 minutes by train from Demodora to Ella over the famous bridge!

We should have stayed longer ;-) Don't be misled by the price of the homestay. It is low not because of the quality but because of the owners' mindset.

the location was perfect for the view of the 9 arch bridge, the view from the balcony was far better than in the pictures. the family were so helpful and friendly. the breakfasts were lovely. we stayed 3 nights and each morning was different local foods.

it was further out of town than we thought but we did want to be near the bridge, so you have weigh that up, and would still go for this option. the local tuk tuk drivers really try to overcharge you here compared to everywhere else we stayed in sri lanka, nothing to do with the hosts or the location, we were very happy with our accommodation. also bear in mind there are a few places with similar names and the drivers tried to drop us off far nearer the town at a similar named property and had we not known where we were going, it would have had a very long walk with our cases. the picture attached is from the balcony on my iphone

A very warm welcome with the owner making his way upto the main road to pick us up in his Tuk Tuk. When we reached the accommodation we were met by an amazing view and a very large pot of tea along with some cake. The owner couldn't do enough for us even taking us to town for food. We were up at 05.15 to catch the train and again tea was ready as was a breakfast to take with us. The accommodation is very basic but comfortable . The view is amazing and makes up for anything you may pick up on please note that it is preferable to pay in Rupees.

We encountered very kind and helpful staff. Although we arrived late without a dinner reservation, they prepared a delicious meal for us. In the morning, the view from the balcony is amazing, overlooking the forest and the bridge. The breakfast was also nice.

The night we arrived was humid, and the room felt quite muggy as well. I wish the ventilation system were better. If you want to work at the desk, you have to do so in open-air areas, which means you'll encounter some living creatures in the nighttime. However, working on the balcony in the morning with the fantastic view was amazing, The kindness of the host family was beyond compare.

We booked this place for 1 night but stayed for 4! This is the most incredible place with the most wonderful family who host you. We cannot sing their praises enough. Nothing is too much. Breakfast was delicious every morning, the view is absolutely stunning and the care they offer you is the best we have experienced in our entire stay. If you want to stay at a place where you are truly treated as part of their family and looked after beyond expectations then this is definitely a place to stay. Absolutely nothing.

The view and location is perfect. One can see the 9Arches Bridge clearly. one can even walk down a slightly difficult shortcut to the bridge. Senavi the owner and host is honest, humble and an absolute gem. very helpful. always attentive. He gave me a lovely room. His family welcomed me. They made me home cooked meals and arranged tuktuk to the railway station too. The room was cosy, with a lovely balcony, clean linen, comfortable bed, hot water and clean toilet. Definitely recommend.

The view of the 9 arch bridge is simply amazing. Senavi is such an amazing host. He is super kind. He came to pick us from the main road in tuk tuk and dropped us back at checkout. He will keep checking on your comfort. The room is basic, clean and spacious. There is a trail that goes down till the bridge from the stay.

The corridor outside the room can be a little noisy. The bathroom was mossy and could be cleaner. The dining chair needs an upgrade.

The property is just above the famous 9-arch bridge. The view towards the bridge is unique. You can walk through the sort path for 5 minutes to the bridge or through the long one - for 15 minutes. We were in 5-bed room. All the beds had baldachin. the room has its own bathroom. The room and the bathroom were clean. The breakfast was fruits and pancakes, coffee, tea and milk. Also we had a mango juice (for all of us) as a compliment from the property.

We really enjoyed our stay here. You're further from the city centre, but closer to nature and Little Adam's Peak. The neighborhood is peaceful and the view from the balcony is to die for. You can go down to the station in just few minutes. Hosts are amazingly nice and helpful. You get breakfast in the morning. Strongly recommend!

Apartments could use some upgrade, however they were clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

This is a simple guest house overlooking the nine-arch bridge from the balcony. Access to the bridge take 10-15 minutes of walking depending on routes. The owner is extremely hospitable, and can help your need. The rooms are simple yet clean and comfortable. The guest house can not be accessed by car. It can be accessed by Tuk Tuk, which costs LKR 800 from Ella centre. The owner is more than happy to pick you up from and to the centre.
