The location is great and very central. The room was very clean and the matress was a dream. I chose (deliberately) a room with no windows and it was amazingly quiet, so my sleep was a dream. Also the price was peanuts, value for money is great!

I liked almost everything, with two exceptions - the Wifi in my room was spotty, and the included breakfast is very very basic. In general it is a basic clean quiet hotel. Nothing fancy. You need to take into account they only offer two single bed rooms (no double bed) and that the showers and bathrooms are shared. But if you do not mind these two things, its a great place in the city, and for a working solo traveler that came for business and values his sleep quality it was great and great value for money

The location is great to visit the city. The twin room has confortable beds and is large enough with a great view on the city from the 5th floor. The whole place is quiet and we slept undisturbed. Breakfast is simple but has all basic foods, good to start the day. Moreover, free tea and coffee is available in the corridor anytime. Stuff is friendly and we could ask for additional items such as iron and hair dryer from the reception.

There was no shower gel provided in the shared bathrooms and it was quite cold in the room although we set the heating to maximum (our stay was in January). Breakfast times were a bit short, until 9 am during the week days.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Comfy beds, strong WiFi, central location, really clean, good breakfast variety and friendly staff. All in all great value for money considering the high cost of things in Sweden. We also liked the fact that the bathrooms were shared because in a group of four friends it meant we were never waiting around like you would with just a private bathroom or two in an Airbnb or ensuite room. They were also cleaned regularly so never a concern. We'd definitely return.

Great location close to all amenities and for tram and bus stop. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by . Accommodation was clean and tidy , basic breakfast, muesli , yoghurt , cheese and ham , toast , fresh orange juice which was sufficient . Only complaint was room was never cleaned in 12 nights or towels renewed . Staff friendly and accommodating , very good price for a stay in Gothenburg , would return

Its was great 😊 being there , nice experience in soo cheep value , just like a room like big hotells with 1000 krs , only think that i can say would have been batter and that is not having share badroom but still so cheep and comfy worth every penny that i have spended. No disturbens and nothing at all. Thank you for such a experice b and b hotell

Le Mat was very clean, both the room and shared bathroom. The employee Johan was extremely helpful with questions I had and let me store my bags for a few hours after check out. The location was excellent, near to a Main Street with shops and restaurants as well as a greenway walking street. I enjoyed eating Swedish food at Kometen, just a block away (reservations needed). Also convenient was a city bike share Styr & Ställ/NextBike location on the same street. The light breakfast was nice before a trip to the free botanical gardens by bike.

The room and breakfast were nice. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the rooms where ready very early so we could leave our luggage before exploring the city. The centre is within walking distance from the B&B.

The hostel provide water/tea/coffee in the hallway as a self-service (which is great), but it would be even better if it were clearer where could we return the used glasses/mugs. There aren't many facilities so it may happen that all are occupied, since you share them with other guests.

Amazing and cheap B&B in the city centre, for the price you couldn't of asked for more, clean and tidy, good simple breakfast and little station open 24hours microwave, fridge and tea coffee. Room clean, plenty of shared showers and toilets all clean, bed lovely and fast free WiFi. Staff great and let us leave luggage on arrival and departure days so we could explore. Would happily book again

Very hot but to be expected in a high rise during a heatwave, no fans.

The room was perfect for the few days I was going to spend in Gothenburg, the bed was comfy, it did have a small table and a TV (I didn't use it tho, I don't speak Swedish). The position was perfect, central, 6 minutes away from the bus stop that takes you back to the airport and 3 minutes walk from a Lidl in case you wanted to get some snacks. They had a small table at the end of my floor with different kinds of teas, water for the kettle, a microwave and some plates and cutlery. It was really useful as last Tuesday it was raining for the whole day and I did enjoy warming up some soup for supper. They have hairdryers if you need one, just ask at the reception. If you come from the bus stop from the Airport, don't stop on the corner when you see the first sign, go around the corner, after the parking space and after Beerista you will see the door to get it. Reception is on the 4th floor.

The wet bathrooms. I don't know honestly if it's a Swedish thing to not have a shower tray but I have this hateful relationship with wet bathrooms. The water was hot and it was enjoyable, but I didn't like not having the water contained with the risk of slipping on the floor.

It is close to the town centre, the trams, and the bus stop that goes to the airport. Everything is very clean. It is good that the rooms have double pane windows because Gothenburg is a very noisy city. It was close to the municipal library, where there is a nice cafe where you can eat an affordable lunch.

Gothenburg is a very noisy city. Since it was abnormally hot (climate change) during the 10 days I stayed there, I had to leave my window open because there is no air conditioning. It was sometimes hard to sleep because drunk people sing and scream until 3 AM. But the hotel can't do anything about the city's noise. There are not responsible for this problem. .
