Breakfasts were a delight - from the coffee to the orange juice to the excellent choice of foods. The rooms were a comfortable home for a week, with daily non-intrusive cleaning on request. And the location could not be bettered - with Avenyn restaurants, the Paddan trips canal trips and relaxing, beautifully kept parks on the doorstop. Not to mention the boutique shops all round !

Having to leave was the only downside.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very kind and thoughtful. The location was great, there was only one small negative and that was the lack of a good coffee machine in the hotel, would have loved a cappuccino. The barmen made excellentMojitos, thank you.

The door to my bathroom had a stainless steel metal plate on it (around the door catch), it was very sharp and when the door closed it caught my finger and cut the skin on my finger. This needs fixing.

The breakfast was great, as was the location, you can walk to everything. Take the Flyggbus from the airport and it drops you right in front.

We visited at Midsommer, and the Swedes were parting late into the night on the street below. We used a white noise app and it was fine.

Lovely hotel in central location. Nice staff, great breakfast, large room with bath(in room but can be screened with curtains if desired), comfortable bed with good pillows. One minute from airport bus stop, ten minutes to main train and bus station, tram stops are nearby. and it is only a ten minute walk to the port for the ferries.

What an amazing hotel! Perfect location. Spacious, modern, comfortable, and spotless room and bathroom. Breakfast was incredible and the staff were kind, open, and very helpful. We loved Göteborg and will be back….and of course plan on staying at Avalon Hotel.

Centrally well located and within easy reach to most attractions, there are many attractions within walking distance, there is no need for public transport if you are a kin walker. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of variety and nicely presented, the staff were very attentive and helpful.

A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. They helped us pick several restaurants that they liked and were very hospitable. The room and street view were fantastic, modern and well appointed. Best hotel stay in a three week trip.

Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, excellent dinner, very generous room size and facilities, superb location. We should add that the staff parked the car for us and brought it to us for our departure.

Our stay was too short!

A perfect match in the middle of the city center of Gothenburg. An awesome breakfast and a good , but expensive Hotel bar & restaurant. Nice rooms and nice interior. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Only the roof top pool is a bit smaller than expected, but also a nice Place to relax and get a refreshment in summer.

Excellent location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu is limited but the food served terrific especially the shrimp sandwich.

The room was stuffy and hot. Couldn’t leave the slinging door open for fresh air because the street noise outside at night was horrible and lasted well past midnight.
