Very nice, very fun, very cool, very good breakfast.

Hotel had lovely facilities, from spacious bedrooms, showers & toilets downstairs. The amazing non dairy selection for breakfast for one of my traveling party’s highlights. The burger in the bar was really juicy and tasty. If I had a complaint the room was a little stuffy but it was humid outside too. I did turn on air con but was still a little hot. All staff were very helpful and efficient including the mannerly robots 😆 Highly recommend spending some time here. We will be back.

What an amazing experience. From the second we walked in, we were amazed by everything in the hotel. The entrance lobby was something from a fairytale. The attention to detail is phenomenal throughout. Seeing our kids' faces as they took it all in was priceless!!! They spent hours on the twirly slide. Staff were wonderful. Helpful, kind, welcoming, and informative. The security guard was brilliant with the kids too! It was my sons birthday whilst we were there and we came back after a day exploring to find a card, voucher for an ice cream and big bag of crisps on his bed. He was over the moon! The rooftop bar was fabulous - views over the park and beyond. Breakfast was exceptional. Savoury, sweet, pancakes, cooked breakfast, breads, cereals. It was a child's dream breakfast - we adults loved it too. The best ice cream and sorbets too. And prices reasonable for Sweden. Our room was spacious with triple bunks and a view over Liseberg park which was very exciting for us all. Thank you for the best hotel experience. We were sad to leave!

I love this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights for a visit to Gothenburg. The bar area, the rooftop bar, the bistro, the reception, dining room. All of it is beautiful. The rooms was lovely, the beautiful decor, the comfortable bed, the shower was great. I stayed with my husband however this is such good value if bringing children. The bunks sleep 3. The breakfast was lovely, plenty choice for everyone, I would say. We ate at the buffet for dinner both nights. This was good value for money and we thought there was plenty choice. The distance to the center of Gothenburg is an easy walk, around 25 minutes. There is a tram stop outside the hotel where you can catch tram number 2 or 4 ,both go directly to the train station.

The kids declared that it was the best hotel they stayed in and it is not hard to see why. The hotel had this really cool slide in the lobby and the kids could not get enough of it. The whole ambience of the hotel was fantastical and magical and the staff were all friendly and really helpful. Check-in was a breeze and so was the check out. The hotel's location was superb - right next to the amusement park and really well connected public transport links into the city and all the main tourist spots as well as the airport. The rooms were a good size and the beds were really comfy. The buffet breakfast was really good with lots of choices for everyone. All in all an amazing time there and we can't wait to return again.

Room was missing body cream. Breakfast is really crowded on the weekends. I wish there was a amusement park discount on tickets for the hotel guests.

The staff were expentionally helpful and kind, hotel was immaculately decorated and clean inside and out, The food was amazing and very varied, top quality gym, top quality rooftop views with an amazing bar and restuarant, felt like the inside of a fairytale, couldn't recommend a better hotel to explore the city and adjacent theme park, perfect friend, family or romantic holiday (although more for platonic fun than romantic fun, the misses and I couldn't catch a break lol)

The Grand Curiosa is a stunning, fully themed hotel in the heart of Gothenburg, adjacent to Liseberg Amusement Park. Every aspect of the hotel and the attention to detail is outstanding. Staff were warm and professional throughout, food and drink were first class and rooms are beautifully appointed. The perfect place to stay for families (there’s a slide from floor 2 to the ground floor and a Carousel in Cafe Agnes!!) and also for the business traveller. Highly impressive - check it out!

This is the perfect hotel for traveling with children! Comfortable and clean room with everything you need, even a small fridge. The design of the hotel is very beautiful, which creates the atmosphere of a fairy tale. The kids also enjoyed the carousel and slide in the lobby. The breakfast is one of the best I have seen in different hotels, the choice of food is huge for every taste. Also, the location of the hotel is excellent - next to the hotel there is not only an amusement park, but also various interesting museums, a tram stop, a grocery store, restaurants and cafes.

Breakfast needs to be booked, which was not mentioned unless I asked. Everything else is perfect!

The hotel is right next to the amusement park. The hotel was clean and full of beautiful decorations. The room was perfect for our family of 4, beds comfortable, room clean and spacious. Beautiful slide and carousel for kids on the first floor. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Location location location 👍

Our room was located near the staircase which echoed to our room whenever someone walked there. Our children were a bit frightened thinking it was a thunder storm. We were then able to change to a different room the next day. The bunk beds for children were nice but didn't have a good railing for our smaller child. No extra railing was available so we had to put pillows on the floor in case our child rolls off the bed. The kids "play area" which was open just at some certain times of the day, could have a little more things to do for smaller children.

This hotel is an immersive experience: part steampunk or Jules Verne,, part Disney and part Addams Family.Leave time to explore. Try the giant slide. There was a cool sleeping alcove that accommodated 3 plus the two in the main room. Lots of quirky touches. Breakfast was very good. There is a robot picking up plates at the buffet. One caveat: they try to give you allergy info on dishes, but they missed on one small one for me. Proceed with a little caution (and don't wolf down unfamiliar food, as I tend to do.)

They heavily advertised (between Feb and now) a rooftop bar where we could watch the activities in Liseberg. Unfortunately it was closed for a private party, and it was handled poorly. They could have arranged to do "quick peek" tours before and after the private party, and the next morning, instead of staff members physically blocking access."Sorry, it's temporarily closed, but because you're a guest, we can let you in for a 10 minute tour if you show this pass at 9:20 tomorrow morning." Or tell us where.on each floor, we could look out over the park. Or have a webcam? This will improve over time, I hope. Oddly, there are no USB ports in the room and the whole lighting setup.is weird. But... do not miss this!
