The room was excellent. We booked a family room but did not expect two adjoining rooms which was excellent for us as our child is 12 and it was great for ours and their privacy. (room is the American Queen). The staff were lovley. Breakfast was great. The restaurant (The Vessel) was lovely too. The Double Smashburger is actually possibly the nicest burger I've ever eaten. They also have weird but amazing beds that you can adjust the firmness of with a remote control.

Its a little outside the city centre.

From the outside it doesn't look very inviting. The inside was a positive surprise : fully modernized and up to standard - only elevator missing, but this was not an issue for us. As family room we got really two separate, interconnected rooms. This feels as luxury, as one can put the children to sleep and keep lights and TV on in the other room.

The room was very clean and quiet. I even could see a bit of the sea and the Oresund Bridge which was an unexpected bonus. You can change the firmness of the mattress which I thought was first not-necessary, but I was happy to make it much firmer! The breakfast was totally fine, there were different rooms to sit so you didn't have to sit in the room with the running TV. I tried the TV in the room, but I didn't manage to change the channels properly, which was totally fine because wifi was strong enough to stream movies on my netflix. super close to the sea and there is a bunch of public transport options both to get to Malmö city center and to the train towards CPH. I could even check in a bit early coming from my transatlantic flight. There was water in the fridge.

There is no elevator - which was not a problem for me. Staff offered me to carry my luggage. The fridge is tiny (but there is one!), it didn't fit my pizza carton :D

We had a wonderful stay and were very happy to have found the dog-friendly Havshotellet. Everything was great, the service was extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. On request we also got pancakes and waffles. The internet speed was great, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All in all we were and are very satisfied and can recommend the hotel. Thanks to the hotel team.

Quiet location close to the sea but not far from the downtown. Top-rated restaurant, Vessel Malmö, is also nearby. Well decorated rooms and good breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff, received a lot of great tips at the reception for sightseeing in the area. Also saw the best sunset in my life on the way to the hotel :)

Breakfast room could be a little bit crowded, but easily solved but going outside peak hours (before 8:30 or after 9:30)

Beautiful hotel with a nautical style. We liked everything about it. And the room, and the breakfast, and the service. Everything in the room is cleaned and very clean. There is free parking from the hotel. If there are no places there, there are enough places in public parking lots nearby, where you can leave your car for free for the night. Next to the hotel is the sea and the yacht club. Very beautiful!

There are no downsides!

The hotel has exceptional rooms, each individually designed to resemble a famous ship. This makes the furnishing of each room very special and a nice surprise. My room was relatively small but had all the necessary comforts. The hotel advertises its mattresses, which can be self adjusted from soft to firm. Unfortunately, the hardest setting is still very soft and you wish you had a normal mattress at this point. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need, even if it could be a little bigger. The breakfast is very varied and there is hardly anything to complain about. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel that is very cosy and offers a small selection of snacks and main courses. As the weather was very bad and it was not possible to go for a longer walk and there was hardly anything open in the vicinity, I spent the evening in the hotel restaurant. I think if the weather was nice, you would also enjoy it more that the hotel is located on the beach. And last but not least I would also like to mention the extremely nice and helpful staff. You really feel welcome!

Nothing really to complain about beside the very soft matrass.

The H (so I don't have to write it out) is weird in the coolest way. The rooms theming isn't done to be a gimmick but a subtle way to give each room its own style. The lounge attached to the hotel is an insanely good restaurant and not to be overlooked by any means. Eat there, hopefully Sixten helps you!

The location comes with a need to learn the bus. In Sweden this is NOT a problem but until my dumb American brain could wrap itself around their simple system I was nervous of the distance. Learn to take the 7 and you're never more than 20 minutes from anything amazing.

Nice rooms, great location and very nice to spend time in beautiful Limhamn. Close to the sea, near Limhamn “city” center and with nice restaurants close by. Appreciated the possibility to have room service from the restaurant, didn’t expect that option.

Breakfast was by international measures good but in Sweden large hotel chains like Nordic Choice and Scandic have even greater choice. That said, not a bad start on the day with the breakfast they served.

The main reason for the existence of hotels is that people need somewhere to sleep when they are far away from home. However, many hotels have forgotten about the "sleep" part, spending most of their efforts on a lavishly decorated lobby and buying really cheap beds which are marginally more comfortable than the carpeted floor. Not these guys. Havshotellet have the best beds I've encountered in Sweden. They have adjustable firmness settings so everyone can get a super comfortable bed. The staff was lovely and very helpful, breakfast was nice and the location is great - right by the ocean and very close to both Copenhagen and Malmö. The rooms all have themes after a specific ship, and the equipment includes a kettle and a small fridge (and some candy). Also, the lobby was tastefully decorated :)
