Beautifully decorated property, centrally located just 10min walk to the train. It is a quiet place, little to no noise from other guests and the road. The half board provisions were delicious, dinner varying nightly. Tea, coffee available all day with Fika (afternoon tea) included. The staff were a highlight, very welcoming and enjoyable conversation.

It is a wonderful property. The bed was a little too soft for me but that’s simply a personal preference.

Nice little hotel, very conveniently located. Just a few minutes walk to Mariestad old town and harbor. Staff is super friendly. My room option included dinner in addition to breakfast, which is very convenient when you are alone and don't want to go anywhere in the evening.

This was by far the cheapest place we stayed in during our Swedish holiday but it greatly exceeded expectations. There were lots of lovely little touches such as organic semi skimmed milk in the fridge in the corridor which we used to make a cuppa in our room. Both dinner and breakfast were yummy. Not only was there a great spread for breakfast but the friendly proprietor encouraged guests to make themselves a packed lunch and provided bags to aid the process.

Exceptional service. Really good food, both dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bed and good pillows.

I prefer key cards to actual keys. Bathroom was very small. (Single room) The tea/coffe station was right outside my door so early evening it was a bit noisy as the hotel bar closes at 21 and many people went there to get an evening cuppa.

I liked the location near to the railway station and proximity to the old and new town. The owner and staff were really lovely. The breakfast was excellent. I don't know how they managed to fit such a really large range of items into such small table spaces. The range of local produce, jams, etc., included for breakfast were delicious.

The evening meal of salmon soup included in the price was perhaps the most delicious I have ever tasted, but it wasn't very filling.

The staff are amazing and so kind. There behavior and the way they talk are fantastic 👏👏👏👏👏.

Well the location,breakfast,cleaning and the dinner service is so good for those who work late and come to the hotel can eat there.

In the top floor rooms they get like a sauna on a hot day. There’s no AC and the fan has no effect. It was very uncomfortable to sleep

Very nice hotel and staff. Really cosy room with all essentials including a fan to bear the heat. Breakfast was very good too, with a lot of homemade items and blueberries harvested in the forest. Dinner was included in the price and it was simple but delicious. We would definitely stay here again!
