The absence of people to welcome you. I manage to check in on my own, but I prefer people meeting me and make sure that you get a good start. The self service may keep the price down but still I like staff to meet me. The bath-tub could get a bit slippery. So there was some risk getting out of it after the shower. I don't like to have the sink inside the bedroom. It belongs in the bathroom.

Very centrally located in Umeå and easy enough to reach with luggage by foot from the railway station. I did not immediately understand that I could in self-service create a room access card from my booking at the check-in machines, but a mobile phone with the help hotline preconfigured was available at the counter and a patient service person available at the other end if the call even at the late time of 11pm. The room was on the 9th floor and the view over the city built around the frozen river was fantastic. I also liked the functional style of the room. I am myself very much into making sourdough bread, thus the offered self-made sourdough buns and breads immediately got my sympathy at the breakfast buffet. I was amazed that I was even allowed to pack a lunch bag from the buffet at no extra charge.

Location is excellent. We had no issues with the self check in. Easy to find and easy to check in. Design of rooms is a little style over substance but the room was clean and the views excellent. We also LOVED the breakfast here. Served by the bakery on the entrance level (level 3). This bakery is well known in Umea and has amazing bread. The options were vast and the bakery staff kept everything replenished. Great to have this included. Excellent value for money overall.

Appreciate that due to the lack of staff some extra info may be confusing as people say but just call the help number they are ready to assist. We called about the parking and they explained it all without issue.

Everything was perfect. We booked a room with view on the river and that was breathtaking. The room had panoramic views on all of its width. The decor was modern and fully practical. The bathroom had a very efficient air system so that it dried completely within 12 hours or so. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff were really nice, polite and helpful. Digital check-in: just take every step as advised on the screen and if difficulty the staff will help. And on top of all this, we found that the cost was low compared to the quality of the room and breakfast (included), which was useful as we stayed 3 nights, so worth checking this hotel if in Umea.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, all you need just 5 mins walk around. Friendly staff. Convenient self check-in system. Room was clean, good sound proof. Stylish room interior. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast at the bakery (same build as hotel): eggs, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, desserts, few vegan options, additionally, I extremely liked the apple juice! There is another hotel in this build, the owner is same for two hotels, at the reception of second hotel (Stora Hotellet) it's possible to rent a bike for free. If you will have room at the highest floors, you will have very beautiful city view!

Size of the room is really tiny. It's not possible to open the window, they have own air conditioning system, which was hard to tune as I would like to have, sometimes it was to fresh in the room for me, but not critical. Unsual location of sink - near bed, not in bathroom. As the bed located just before the window - which most likely will have great scenes outside - TV is located not before your head. So if you will want to watch it, it could be not very comfortable for you head.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the city, next to the river. You find lots of shops and restaurants in short walking distance. One of our favorites was it to walk along the river in the evening. We loved our room on the 13th floor with the bed facing the huge window with river view! Our room was nicely decorated and everything was sparkling clean. The self-check-in was quick and easy. Don't skip the breakfast! It was excellent - fresh bread, bacon, cheese, fruit, veggies, sprouts, yoghurt, juice and also warm dishes, waffles... I am sure, there was something for everybody.

No complaints :-) There was nothing we missed.

Again it was very cozy and nice to stay here. As we had an early check out cus of early flight, they have prepared breakfast box to take away, it was very nice and food was fresh! Tack så mycket ❤️

The only thing that I will mention here is bed mattress. It was double bed (king), but there were 2 mattresses that were not connected so they would often make a space between them, which would be uncomfortable during the sleep.

The rooms were nice with those big windows facing the river! The breakfast was totally amazing with great variety of local and healthy food. The receptionist was very nice and friendly.

The check in experience was not the smoothest: I booked two rooms under one names as we were traveling with family. We arrived late and there was self-checkin only. I managed to check-in for one of the two rooms but the other one required a different name and I had to call support. It took us a while and we were pretty tired but it did not prevent us from having a good stay at this hotel.

The location, in the center of the center of Umea, in the framework of a cultural Center, with library, restaurants, museum, next to the river. You can do many things indeed without even going out to the cold weather! The machine for the check-in and check-out is very practical.

We had an extra bed but it was not prepared; we had to search for the cleaning guy to prepare it... Not big deal but still, it takes some time to find him and for him to reach the room. Breakfast lacks coffee machine; only black coffee with a milk box beside. This could be improved, in my opinion. And the breakfast is a bit overcrowded, you have to go at specific times to be more comfortable and pick a table. Lastly, we didn´t understand the heating system. We put it at 25 degrees but nothing happened.

Perfect location in city centre with 10 minutes to railway station. Wonderful view from the room over the river and Teg. Excellent breakfast with a variety of dishes.

Ventilation system is disturbing and a need of earplugs to sleep well. The bed was a bit worn out and leaning over to one side. Missing hooks for cloths or place to put cloths/stuff.
