As always, fantastic breakfast at Clarion hotels. It really had everything you need. Very comfortable beds, also the extra bed was big and soft – a real plus. Parking garage in the basement was very practical. Walking distance to good restaurants and city center.

Just one thing: Though checking in with kids, reception staff missed to inform us that there was a big playground area in the conference room during the summer. We discovered that area in the morning we were leaving.

Very nice hotel in prime location, awesome breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The room was also very nice and comfortable. The Wifi connection was very reliable, and somewhat sadly faster than my home network. Even though this was not a business trip I was able to work from my room remotely without issues. The room even had a HDMI cable for the TV to project my laptop screen onto.

The only negative I can mention is the limited opening time of the spa - it would be nice to have it open longer. During my short stay I was only able to enjoy it for 30 minutes before closing time. It would also be nice to have the spa stay included in the room price.

The breakfast was incredible, there was so much choice! The beds were nice and we had a room with beautiful view and a bath. I absolutely loved the stay. Staff was friendly and everything was clean.

The spa was fully booked so make sure to book in advance if you'd like to.

Bathroom light comes on when bathroom door is opened. I have to get up in the night, I use a torch so the bright light doesn't fully wake me. Cant do this at the Clarion.

Perfectly located in the centre, a sizeable room with comfortable beds, the Clarion Gillet is one of the good places to stay when visiting Uppsala. The room is modern and stylish, the beds are very comfy and the breakfast is what you can expect in Scandinavia: many choices, including lactose-free, gluten-free, vegan options. Underground paid parking is right underneath the hotel and one of the shopping centres is just one door away. All main Uppsala landmarks are in short walking distance, as well as the central station (about 5 minutes walk away).

Regular visitor to the hotel and its the best one in the centre of Uppsala for the price, location and facilities in my humble opinion! The staff are consistently excellent and friendly, with a great eye for detail. If you are looking for a central location with superb standards and no stress, then this is the place for you.

Location excellent. Breakfast really good. Lobby area really lovely as a living room with lots of sofas. Very large room. Nice with a safety deposit box. Great that there is a parking right under the hotel.

The room felt a bit outdated and dark, wardrobe doors and desk was very dusty.

The staff were so nice and friendly, the food was tasty and lots of choice for breakfast. It’s in a good place of Uppsala, easy to get to and not far from the train station.

The aircon was not great, not very cool in the room after a hot day.

Quality feel hotel, with a super restaurant. Just a couple of minutes to walk down to the river and the beautiful architecture of Uppsala.

The hotel website suggested no parking but there is a car park under the hotel, but there is a fee. Not a complaint but could be clearer.

standard room lacked amenities like tissue and coffee maker. Garage in basement was convenient but layout was challenging and it would have been easy to scrape a pillar or wall. Difficult to access property by car because of pedestrian streets.
