The hosts are absolutely fantastic! Super friendly and attentive as they work hard to keep everyone happy. The location of the hotel was perfect just off the piazza. I loved my small balcony and the beautiful view of the mountains. Breakfast was so wonderful with fresh fruits, local cheeses, and fresh-made breads. Cappuccino, espresso, and coffee all made fresh and served with a smile by the host. The five-night stay far exceeded our expectations.

We travel ALOT, this stay is definitely the top of our stay. The host’s felt like family. They truly care about every person that stays there. We have never stayed at a place where the hospitality is top notch. You will not be disappointed. We would stay here again & again. Thank you so much !!!

Everything, the room was great, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are exceptional. Even Melody the dog is amazing.

This was the nicest staff I've ever encountered. I literally felt like I was staying with family. They were SO nice, went the extra mile in every way possible, and everything was perfect. Nespresso machine in the room, lovely bathroom stocked with unique items for your travel needs, the balcony with beautiful views of the town, the water, and the church. The breakfast and food was amazing, they gave you super clean and nourishing water, and has the best little candies that they encouraged you to take upon leaving. Everything was comfortable, clean and well taken care of.

Rita and Giuseppe are very very nice hosts! We felt like being at home. The location is perfect, in the middle of Ascona, close to the lake and the center. The room was comfortable, it was very quiet. The breakfast was good as well. We would definitely come back here again:) (Big thanks for the very good bread ;) )

Nothing I can remember of

The hosts were wonderful- friendly happy and knowledgeable. The rooms were spacious and spotless and everything worked perfectly. The position was magic - just a stone’s throw from the lake promenade. So convenient. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with fruit, cheeses, meats, jams , yoghurts bread, croissants etc etc. when we left they even gave us a loaf of their marvellous Ticino bread to take home. A wonderful 4 days!

My room towards the mountainside was quiet and bright. But the opposite rooms towards the little street can be a bit noisy and also don't have much sunlight

Easy to reach by foot from the bus station Ascona Centro. A few steps away from the promenade in Ascona with restaurants, bars and the lakefront. Clean room and good facilities. I appreciated the espresso machine in the room and the Nespresso capsules. The staff goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. On arrival, I got a bottle of complimentary sparkling water, as it was a hot day. On departure, a small bottle of prosecco. Excellent breakfast; I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits. I definitely would stay here again when in Ascona.

The room had no view, but that was not really an issue.

The room was spacious and nice, it gave to a courtyard, where we would have breakfast. That was really a treat, having breakfast outside. Great breakfast too! And the owners are very sweet, at the end one had the impression that you were visiting friends instead of being in a hotel.

Beds were too soft for me.

Very nice location in the middle of the center of Ascona. Beautiful bathroom and spacious room with comfortable bed and air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and we also got special bread from Maggia Valley as well as ham from the Maggia valley offered. There were also sweet fresh fruits.

The parking situation could be a bit better. If you park at the car-silo next to the coop you have to get a ticket from the reception and then drive out of the parking and back into the parking again to make the ticket valid. If you do this in 30min the first ticket is for free. Then it costs 18 CHF/day paid at the reception when you check out. There would be an option to drive to the Hotel by car for luggage transport, make sure you ask them beforehand how it works.

Location: one minute literally from the lake, Really quiet with great views. The staff: Rita and Giuseppe were amazing hosts , helpful and kind and they gifted us amazing house-made bread when we left. Kind and friendly . Overall an amazing experience

Everything was up to standard. The only thing I would change would be the pillows, I like firm pillows and the pillows were soft. That was a personal preference
