Location and staff are amazing, the view is amazing, the bathroom was super clean and quite modern. It's a very good option if you stay in Ascona.

It was cold at night, not enough heating (November). No breakfast. Coffee in coffee machine downstairs tasted weird (like mixed with cacao)... no parking as well, So be prepared to spend money for parking and breakfast separate...

THIS VIEW 😍 I never knew I could visit a place that had snow capped mountains and palm trees at the same time! Our concierge described Ascona as a “sleepy village” and I couldn’t agree more! Such a cute place and our room was wonderful! We loved sitting on our terrace and it was conveniently located near restaurants. We walked around near the lake a bit before leaving in the morning. If you want a lovely spot to stay in Ascona, I highly recommend Hotel Elvezia ☺️

The location on the lake was amazing and we were right in the centre of the historical old town. The staff were very nice and the room was spotless. We also had a kettle, coffee machine and fridge which were very useful.

We had a room on the 3rd floor (under the roof) that got VERY hot during the night. Because the jazz was on that weekend we couldn't open the window because of the loud music and so it was very uncomfortable

The location is excellent. It is adjacent to the lake and along the promenade. Rooms were comfortable and fans were provided. I have nothing bad to say about our stay.

There was no parking on site but that’s not a big issue as there is plenty of city parking for about 20CHF/night.

Great location! The hotel is located in Ascona center, direct on the Lago Maggiore lakeside. Hotel room had an incredible view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Convenient location to great restaurants, cafes, and shops. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic, right on the lake. the hotel was very clean and comfortable and great value for money. We travelled with kids and had a family room, which was very spacious. The restaurant was easy going and accommodating and the food was exactly what the kids wanted. Staff were kind and helpful. For a family stay in Ascona this was absolutely perfect.

The rooms can be a bit noisy from but being right in the centre and on the waterfront the noise from the street is not something you can really avoid. We‘ve been in other hotels nearby on other occasions and they were generally noisier.

The room and location were super. Nespresso machine and a balcony. Great breakfast.

It was very hot. No air-conditioning. There were two fans, but they couldn't cope. The heat wave was no fault of the hotel.

Great room with a huge terrace. It has a coffee machine and water boiler, which was very appreciated! The breakfast is okay, yet a category below the room. Kind of basic and "help yourself" style. The American style restaurant is not my cup of tea in terms of design. The location is wonderful! The lady at the reception very friendly.

Usually you get the Ticino ticket upon arrival, and if I didn't know about, we would not have got it. Also we didn't receive the usual 10% voucher for the restaurant when we arrived. The breakfast was okay, yet basic, and the whole "help yourself" style is not matching the room & price category - in my opinion.
