A lot of things are great here. For example, since we stayed as a family, we had the whole hotel to ourselves( there are two hotels)! The breakfast is also great and he is so welcoming when you meet him. Also, he specially made scrambled eggs because we were a little bit late for our train.

The fact that there were two hotels were just a little bit annoying. We had 4 suitcases so it made it a little bit worse. If you are elderly and are staying with your whole family, I wouldn't stay here. You also have to eat breakfast in the other hotel. It is also a bit far from the Bonaduz train station so we had to walk a little bit to get there.

Kinky bathroom, clean and with all the comfort, spacious, sunny thank to many windows. The owning family is hands on and a great hoast.

Breakfast situation: we would like 4 eggs, 6 minutes. Are you sure? Yes, we are, thank you very much. Very patronising, the blondie that ( pretends) is serving. She came with 3 eggs. “The 4th broke”. She brought it 10 minutes later, when we were done eating. Next morning. We would like 4 eggs, 3 minutes. Are you sure? (loud) Because yesterday you did’t eat the 4th! Hahahahah! Unbelievable!

Absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful family run hotel, the staff were all super friendly, the room was larger than a normal hotel room & exceptionally clean. The breakfast was of a high quality. Loved going down to the nice dining room each morning & being met with a big smile from the lovely Anna who always made us an excellent coffee. The hotel is right in the heart of the nice little village of Bonaduz which is a bit of a hidden gem in it's own right. Just a short walk to the train station each day for exploring the region. We spent 6 weeks in Switzerland & this special little hotel was by far the best one we stayed in. A big thank you to everyone at Hotel Alte Post for making our stay amazing. This will be the first place we will go on a return trip to Switzerland.

Just a couple of small things, the wifi had a tendency to drop out a bit when in the room. Also, a couple of cloths to clean & dry our cups would have been handy, but as I said, very small things in an excellent & extremely well run hotel.

Had an AMAZING stay! The room were super spacious, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. There is a really good bath where you can unwind while looking out to the mountains. We were greeted by the owner and the owners son, both were super kind and professional. The breakfast had a lot of options. Highly recommended stay in Switzerland. The location is 15min from Chur Station which you can travel on the Bernina express to Italy (return/one way)

The hotel room was the best we have ever stayed in, and we have travelled quite a lot. The room was huge fitted with top quality furnishings with a super cool sofa to watch the huge TV. So comfortable we went to the supermarket and got our tea so we could stay in and watch the complimentary Netflix. Can't recommend enough...

Leaving after only 1 night..

High class hotel in a good location. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room's architecture is not good. There is no door or blinds betwen bedroom and shower, no privacy. The toilet's door is straight to bedroom, so every time a person opens the door, lights are dazzling the sleeping partner. The variety of the breakfast can be better. On our second day, breads were dried to hell and not fresh.

Excellent appartment/suite; New and clean; Very nice, helpfull and kind staff. Good restaurant; We're extremely satisfied. Good startingpoint for walks and tours in the region.

No complaints. Maybe airconditioning during the few hottest days/nights would have been welcome. But opening the windows in the evening, when temperature went down anyway, worked fine too.

The hotel has been recently renovated, and everything is done with great taste and is new and modern. The family room includes both a bedroom and a spacious living room with the kitchen corner. Both rooms offer a lot of storage space for the luggage and clothes, very convenient for a longer stay. The bed and linens are immaculately clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a big walk-in shower, and the cosmetics are of premium brands (e.g. Molton Brown). Good breakfast, with a variety of the salty and sweet dishes, and a real cappuccino. Generally delicious food (we've tried also lunch and dinner) and local wine. A great thanks to the exceptional staff - always very polite and friendly, and they were there for us for any request.

Our room was to the street, and with the open windows it was a bit loud, also at night. The air conditioning was working perfectly though, and with closed windows it was quiet.
